I plan on brestfeeding when my baby arrives. I will be a stay-at-home mom for awhile. Also a bit tight on money. I wasn't going to get a pump until a friend of mine suggested I have one on hand-just incase( engorgment, baby sleeping, want to go out...ect)
What kinda pump should I get?

I had to push my 1st baby out for almost 3 hours, 2nd only pushed about 30 minutes, and my third came out so fast, she pushed herself out in 8 minutes flat!
What are the chances of that happening again?
Stories please?

I'm thinking of starting a part-time service business where I'd go to a person's home whose about to have or just had a baby. For a fee I'd prepare and prepackage meals with your food(2 weeks worth), do basic house cleaning like sweep & mop, dust, clean toilets & tubs, take out trash, (even clean linnens for an extra fee) for $300 (more or less depending on how big the house is). I could expand the service, for extra fees, to shop and run errands. If it's postpregnancy I would even help with diapers/babysitting for a while while mom sleeps, for an extra fee. During this time, the mothers/parents are usually exhausted and don't have time to think about cleaning and cooking. I think this would be a great service to offer, but is there a damand for it? Some people don't have family or friends that can help with these things. Would anyone out there consider a service like this for themselves or purchase the service for a loved one?

My mom and me babysit. And we watch my niece and my nephew as well. My newphew (Lucas) is almost 9 months and he won't do anything! He can't even sit up by himself! You can sit him there yourself and he'll sit up but then he goes back down as if hes to lazy. He only rolls where he wants to go. And its like he has no desire to crawl or do anything. How can we help him to crawl and do some new moves. I know that he'll be ready when he is but goodness almost 9 months! I try putting him on his hands and knees but he just slides right back down. All he does is roll roll rollllllll where he wants to go! Help!

I would like a double breast pump so I can pump both breasts at the same time. I plan to have two children and breastfeed as long as I can, so renting one, I think is too expensive. Is there a good one I can buy??? I think I've seen the Medalia (spelling?) What are some really good/ professional type that you can buy that you can take with you to work?

I am nursing and pumping consitently and frequently but still low on milk supply. Wondering if a supplement would help and if so which is the best one.

My poor baby wakes up because he is soaked through and I have to change his entire outfit at least twice each night. How can I stop this from happening? What brand of diapers work best for newborns? He is 9lbs and 20 inches in size so is of average size and weight.

I know I need an outfit for when I go home, but do I bring PJ's for the hospital stay, or do I have to wear an awful hospital gown the whole time? I'm trying to pack a bag because it's getting close, but I don't want to bring anything I won't need. What did you wear during your stay?

Our 5 month old baby boy keeps tugging at his left ear. It is not an ear infection as confirmed by our pediatrician. He is not teething either.

It seems to be a nervous habit of his. He does it without really thinking seemingly or just absent-mindedly tugs at his left ear (not his right).

The other day he was tugging at it so much he scratched himself. He seems to be doing this more and more regularly...

Should we be concerned? Is this a red flag to something more serious? I've read somewhere that these types of repetitive actions are cause for concern -- possibly early signs of a disorder...???

Any insights or suggestions?

My son does great nursing throughout the day, but come night time and around the time before bed he won't seem to nurse unless I pay full attention to him. If I look away or move my hands away from him, he immediately pulls off and then turns right around searching for my breast. This happens continuously until the feeding is over. Which leaves me to stare at him and talk until the feeding is over. How can I break this habit and why does he do it? He's 8 weeks old today.

ok i want to know a website that can give me a percentage rate or a worksheet of somesort to determine my unborn sons hair color. I have blonde hair, and my husband has medium brown hair, but his daughter from a previous relationship has red hair. We want to know our chances of this baby having red hair as well, by doing something like a family tree of hair colors or something. we just want a percentage and thought it would be nice for the baby book. we realize its not a 100% science, but cant find anything on the subject that fits what we need, everything tell us how hair gets its color, but doesnt say much about family tree and how it affects hair color. im horrible at searches and not having any luck, i will choose a best answer if i find the info i need! i will also give thumbs up for any answers that are remotely close to what i need.

My baby just turned 6 months old. During the past two weeks she has started crying before bedtime, right as soon as we go into her room and turn on the lullaby cd. She never did this before. What is going on?
