I had this problem with my second baby. My doctor told me that every baby changes your body in some way but that it would lesson in severity within the first year. Well it did get a lot better but it took until he was almost 18 months old. I do now have to watch what I eat more than before because I have a tendency to get gas when I eat meat (pork and beef).

It really does take at least a year to get back to where you were before baby.

Good luck!

Must be common to have gas after a c-section. lol It happened to me too! I think it's because everything gets moved around in there during the operation and it takes a while for everything to move back into place. I had a lot of digestive problems afterwards. They have resolved for the most part. Things will get better soon.

I thought my gallbladder pains were gas at first...when we did find out it was my gallbladder they said it was common for new first-time moms to develop a problem with it. I'd keep track of when you have the problems with it and see if it's related to something you're eating or if your body is just adjusting to all the changes.

Try eating Activia and yogurt. This may help right your digestive tract.
