Hi, how about personalized books? Kids love to hear their own name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of titles like Sesame Street, Three Little Pigs, Mother Goose, Teddy Bear Land, Noah's Ark, Sports titles and so many more. Check it out - they're very reasonably priced, and make a wonderful, unique & special gift... It's something they can enjoy now and keep forever!! Good Luck!

I have a 7 month old baby girl and this is what she LOVES:

1. Jumpster: I recently bought one, I can't get her out of it, loves jumping.

2. Toys that have teethers. I guess her 1st teeth will soon appear and she bites anything in her way.

3. She's starting to put herself in hands and knees and is "rocking". I guess it won't be long until she surprises us by crawling around. I got her a lights and sounds allien that moves to stimulate her to go get it.

4. She also loves soft stuffed animal, specially bears.

Hope I helped.

My baby is 8 months and I got her a ball that lights up. It's small enough for her to hold but to big for her to put all the way in the mouth. SHE LOVES IT. she can light herself when she hits it on her stomach or on the floor. That keeps her busy for like an hour and she never lets it go.

I have a trolley like toy that on one side has activities like spinning dials and flaps to lift over etc...and then you can flip it over and the other side has a surface that you can put 'duplo lego' on. It is on wheels and has removeable handles on each end. This was great because they could play with the activity side, then use it when they started walking by holding the handle and then flip it over and they can use it for duplo when they can play with it. Overall used it from 6mths to 2.5yrs and still going for the duplo.

Also maybe 'fisher price peek-a-blocks' are great for babies and toddlers as they can inspect the things inside (they have a clear surround) and they build with them later on.

Also shape sorters and 'fisher price little people' are great and again, they play with them now and adapt to them as they grow.

good luck!

Learning Toys Walking Toys basically anything that will be mind developing is always a good gift, as well as children books are great stocking stuffers. if he has lots of toys i would recommend getting him some educational movies, or sing-a-long cds. Children love things that make noise (:

do you have a walker that she can get in and walk around. If you go in the toy section in the store you can look in there are some ages on the box. There could a ball hopper I think it call I think your baby would love to play with. Leap frog that plays music that the baby would like. My boys did like the leap frog that play music and lights up when playing.

At 7months you can give them an empty box and they will have more fun with that then any LARGE presents. Get her a small doll she can play and chew on while she teethes. Large presents impress adults not babies.

My nephew loves the Fisher Price Jumperoo. Walkers are no longer recommended because they can lead to injury and hinder developement.
