I've decided to breastfeed and i was just wondering what are my breats really going to look like afterwards? everyone has told me exactly like they did before i was pregnant. Is this true? I'm not going to change my mind so no mean comments please. I just dont want to be shocked.

My boyfriend was watching our 6 month old, while I was a sleeping and I got woken up to a bad cry and I ran out of my room and my boyfriend said she fell out off the couch and he's not sure if she bang her head on the coffee table on the way down.

She's looks and seems to be acting fine besides the red mark on her head,no bump or bruise. My couch is about 21/2 feet off the ground and the coffee table is about the same distance from the couch.

I'm just worried and I was just wondering,do you think she's fine?Do you think she hit her head off the table?Do you think this could cause any problems?

*I just want opinions and answers, please don't criticize,I've already feel so bad for her I cried and already yelled at my boyfriend all day for this*

Thank You

I've asked this question before, but now that we had Alex tested (EEG, blood, urine, spinal fluid) for seizures, all tests came back normal. However, he continues to have these "spells" and the doctors also ruled out "breath holding spells". Alex had the worst "spell" last night, while trying to breast feed him, he got really upset and once again, screamed as if someone was hurting him, then clenched his fists, held his breath, turned beet red, tightened up his body, glazed eyes with no response. I called his name, caressed his head, rubbed his body to stimulate him but once these "spells" take over, it has to take its course. Alex did not respond to me at all. Once the "spell" was over, he went limp, closed his eyes and rested for a few seconds then he went back to his normal state. I'm extremely worried and scared since he has gone undiagnosed. Its a mystery to our pedicatrician as well as to the neurologist. I'm at my wits end. Please help.

I noticed last night one of my son's bottle smells AWFUL! I washed it twice and let it soak before a third washing, but the smell is still there. I think I heard once before of someone using a bleach/water mix to get rid of odors, but I can't find anything to support that. Can I do that or is there some other way of getting odors out? Any help is appreciated.

I'm currently a SAHM (going back to grad school in February). For the past few weeks I've been feeling pretty low and can't pinpoint the reason(s). By the time my husband comes home from work, I am dying to get out of the house. Sometimes I find myself at the supermarket or video store at 10pm just to get a change of scenery. I love my kids immensely, but I miss having time for myself (and spending time with my husband). How can I tackle this?

i am going to work for 3 hours. My son is 2 months old and totally breastfed. What formula is most likely going to be more what he is used to. My milk doesn't express very easily and this is only occassional, so I am going to buy some formula. Also, should I buy nipples with the little holes or the big ones?

I am a first time mother, with a baby girl (Lillian) who will be one month old tomorrow. For the last three days she has been extra fussy, sleeping a lot less and for shorter periods of time AND seems to want to nurse constantly! I am breastfeeding and she will eat for a good 10-15 minutes, fall asleep and then when I put her down she will be awake again, fussy and show all the signs of still being hungry.. this will go on for hours at a time all throughout the day. I am producing milk, and nearly every time she is done nursing she will have a little milk drool, she's also having regular wet & poopy diapers, so I assume she is getting enough, but why does she constantly want to? and how long is this going to go on? I feel like I can't be away from her for any period of time because she gets to a point where only thing to calm her is to feed her. Is this growth spurt behavior.. is it wrong to feed her this much.. what is going on?!

I read that as your child gets older (around 4 mo. or so) your milk changes to suffice them. My son is a little over 4 mo. old and he all of a sudden started eating every 2 hours/ 24 hours a day. We had him sleeping 7-12 and then 12-5 at night and now he wakes every 2 hours to eat. It is killing me. Is my milk not changing? Did anyone else have this happen to them?

My daughter has has very painful gas/digestive system problems since she was born. She was colicky for the first 2.5 months of life, and from there she just seemed to get gassy at night time. She is now 5 months old and she still can't sleep through the night. She doesn't get up to feed, but because she's uncomfortable or in pain. Sometimes she wakes up fussing, sometimes it's full out screaming. My doctor told me there is nothing we can do to help her, does anyone have any suggestions? I've given her gripe water and that helped when she was really little, but not so much now, and Ovol... but she seems to be worse after I give her Ovol.

About a week and a half ago my daughter got a really stuffy nose, cough, and fever hovering around 100.5. A couple days later she wasn't getting any better, so I took her to the doctor, who said she just had a summer cold, and gave her some medicine for sleeping. It has been almost 2 weeks since she first got sick, and she is tons better. No fever, no coughing, and sleeping through the night. However, she can't get rid of the runny/stuffy nose. When she sneezes, snot shoots out. Usually it is clear, but everyonce in a while, it will be a slight yellowish color (that is usually the first snot of the morning). It doesn't seem to bother her as much as it bother me. The doctor said to only come back if she gets worse, which she hasn't. Also, she is teething (she doesn't have any teeth :) ) she could that be not letting her nose clear up. Other than the nose, she is wonderful. Should I call the doctor, or wait till her 9 month check which is in two weeks?

I have a 4 month old and I was curious what your 4 month old's sleep patterns were like. What time to you put him/her down to bed? How often does he/she nap during the day? Thanks for your input.
