Where do you buy your baby clothes? I can only shop online for clothes (I live in Germany and somehow baby clothes here are really hideous). Links would be nice. I checked out amazon, Wal-mart and target, but I don't like the selection.

I just had my first baby 8 months ago and now am pregnant with the second. I know they recommend like a year before getting pregnant again. We were using the bcp and everything so it wasnt planned but my husband and I are still happy about it. What I wanted to know is does anyone know what the risks are to not only mother but baby as well if there isnt a year buffer between pregnancies? Should I be scared? I am worried that my body wont heal normally this time or something could go really wrong during delivery. My first was healthy and beautiful so there is no history of trouble during labor. By the way I am only 20 so I know I am not at as much of a risk as an older woman would be in my situation. What am I in for?? :S

My 4 weeks baby is on Alimentum because she had blood in her stool before... and she's on that formula for 2 weeks already . Today she has blood in stool again . I thought the Alimentum is really light so my baby should not be bleeding. I called the doctor already but I have to wait until tomorrow to get her check up.

My new baby is almost 3 days old and was born about 2 weeks early. She is so sleepy and never wants to wake up. I knew she would be somewhat but not this much. I'm beginning to worry. She only wakes up enough to eat and falls right to sleep after burping. Does this sound normal? We don't even hear a peep out of her the rest of the time.

..table foods, grrr. She's still into her organic veggie jars and breast milk. I tried some ice cream and it worked pretty well. Other than that... no chance.
She only plays with food, puts it in her hair etc. Small cut bread is ok at times but most of that stuff lands on the carpet.
My daughter is 16 months old and VERY active.

my baby book says 6 weeks, is that right or can you put a baby in a swing sooner than that? My baby is just a few days over a month old.

My son is seven months old. I normally run to pick him up whenever he cries but I'm just so tired and I'm desperate for sleep. Would it be ok to put him down in his cot, even if he's awake and not pick him up till I've had a sleep or would it damage him emotionally? I'm so tired that I feel weak and dizzy but I don't know if it will do harm to him to not go to him when he cries?
thank you

He goes only once in 5 days now but thats not the only issue. Since last night he is crying with pain in the evenings and has apnea which really smells bad. The last time he pooped it had mucus. It started as green liquid with solid bits followed by normal poop. He is alright in mornings and having this problem last night and now. Please help i can call the doctor only tomorrow morning

I can tell what her cries all mean now. If she's laying on the floor for more than 5 minutes, she'll whine until I pick her up. Even if I just sit beside her she'll still whine until I pick her up. Then she will be fine.

I remember reading somewhere that you can't spoil a baby by holding him/her too much, that this was a very old myth. It seems that my month old newborn only sleep soundly while I'm holding him or he's lying next to me in bed. Is this normal, natural or having I been cuddling him to much already? Right now its fine, I just don't want to have to hold him/sleep with him all the time to keep him asleep in the future.

He likes the formula warmed up a bit, but of course when he wakes in the middle of the night its hard to warm a bottle on the stove with it taking a few minutes, and in the meantime he is crying because he is hungry. any suggestions?

My baby is 8 months and cause my husband was ill with cancer and we were out of town alot for the last 3 months she never really had a schedule. But now that he's back at work we are starting to get her on a schedule. Before she was nursing whenever. Eating 4 times a day probably 8ish, 1 ish, 6ish, and 10ish. Now I have got her on a schedule where today for example she at 9 and at 12:30, 5 and 7. The first and last feeding she has cereal. The other 2 is meat, veggies, and fruit. But eventually I want her to go to bed by 7pm and sleep till 7. Then 2 1.5 hour naps one at 9:00 and one at 1. So I'm confused at where all the feedings and nursings should go????

i still can't figure out how to get my 5 month old to stay away from his habitual feedings at night.

I've gotten one answer that i've read somewhere else - may help.. it's giving your baby warm water instead of milk at night. ( In my case, only untill 3-5 am.. not all night! )

Hes in 50th percentile for his weights and 90th for his height.. So he won't be missing the calories..

And please don't tell me that i'm starving my child, or he will be underweight... ( how do babies that sleep through the night at 6 weeks survive without food then... ? )

Thanks for everyone's input on this..

My 10 week old is breastfed and formula fed( about 3 bottles a day.) She poops only once every 24-28 hours. My mother in law (ugh) keeps telling me she is not pooping enough, that she shoud go after every feeding. Whereas my doc said it sounds perfectly fine.Im getting concerned because it seems her tummys been upset the last couple days and today she had the greenest poo ive ever seen. I know this sounds gross, but im sure you mothers understand. please help.
