Every child is different. And birth order plays a role. I have 3 kids. All 3 started to pull up in the crib around 7-8 months (but not cruising until 9 months). My oldest was walking on her own (like across the room more than 5-6 steps) a couple weeks before she turned 1. My two sons, walked at 10 months. I think they were too busy trying to keep up with the older sibling. BTW, my oldest sat up early, like 5 months but didn't crawl until 7.5 months. My two boys crawled at 6 months, before they actually sat up on their own.

My daughter finally started pulling up at 9 months. She didn't walk well until she was 16 months. She took her first steps at 14 months, but it took her two months to just walk all the time after that.

My daughter started crawling and pulling herself up with furniture at 6 1/2 months. She just started walking all by herself about two weeks ago and she is 11 months. So it took about 4 1/2 months before she was walking around all by herslelf!

My daughter began pulling herself up around 5 months previous, and he or she began strolling while she replaced into 13 months previous. everybody concept she might commence strolling way formerly than she did, so i do no longer understand, in line with probability she replaced into scared or something. She replaced into crawling at 6 months.
