In my Child Development class I have to price the cost to feed a baby for one month, but I don't know how much formula babies drink. Does anyone know about how much formula their newborn baby goes through in a month?

My 9 month old goes through 4 of the 25.7oz cans of powdered formula each month. The Kirkland (Costco) brand is about $10 per can for a total of $40 per month. Name brand (Similac, Enfamil) will run you about $23-$25 per can for the same size can.

Shouldn't you be hypothetically breastfeeding anyway?!
That's free.

I know it doesn't answer your question exactly, but whatever...
