I have been nursing him since day 1 and we are planning on starting on number 2. I want my body to be as healthy as can be and I want the new one to be as healthy as possible. I am slowly weaning from twice a day to once a day. I really enjoy that time together. I know I can get that time by just holding him just not the same. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

My son was born with grey-blue eyes, as were my brother and I. Our eyes changed color at a few months old, so by what age will my son's eyes change if they're going to change?

My son is almost 9 months old. He is a really good sleeper at night, but is a terrible napper (and has been since birth). He gets between 12 and 14 hours of sleep at night. During the day when I put him down, he sleeps for an hour tops. I know that he is tired because he displays all the signs. Is this something that gets better with age?

I have a 41/2 month old and he screams when he wants something. He is very highpitched. LOL Why does he do this? When I put him down for a nap/bedtime and when he is hungry are the only times he does this. He doesn't do it when he wakes up after sleeping for 9 hrs. I do let him cry for 10 minutes before I go and check on him, unless he is really mad, could this be why he is screaming now? Please don't tell me not to let him cry, I already asked a question if I should do this or not. I just want to know why he is screaming now. He isn't sick either. Thank you!

Normally a person's ear opens and points to the back of his/her head. I have a new baby. He likes to sleep on his ears while the ear wraps towards the face and covers the ear opening. I try to correct him while he's sleeping, but he rotates his head and wraps his ear again. It starts to be harder and harder to recover. Now even when he's not sleeping on his ears, his ears don't entirely open up.

What can I do? Is there a special "word" to describe this habbit that I can search the web or ask my doctor?

I have been advised by my HV that I should not give the expressed feed as I will confuse the baby, leading to her not latching on? What are your opinions on this? I ask because Maddie has reflux and I'm having to give gaviscon after every feed. Obviously the feed that she keeps down the best is the bottle feed that my partner gives as we can pop the gaviscon in it - instead of giving it via a syringe. I would perhaps like to give another feed this way...

This morning my son woke up with his whole butt red and chaffed and half of it towards the inside was raw like his skin had been scraped off. It makes my skin crawl because it's like I feel what I'm seeing. He gasped and cried the whole time I was wiping him. I smothered his butt in desitin, but I hope that's the best remedy!!!!

I just had a baby and named her Leigha. While we were at the hospital no one could say her name correctly, every doctor and nurse said her name completely wrong. We are debating on changing it to Leah, but I'm not sure if that will help. I didn't spell it Leigha to be trendy, I used to know someone with it spelled like that and always thought it was pretty.

I want to hear from those who had their infants vaccinated and also those who chose not to and why. Also , If your baby has all of their shots, did they have any bad reactions, or were they fine? I'm pregnant with my first and all kinds of people have been scaring me to death about the possible dangers of vaccines (autism, SIDS, bad reactions, etc.) BUT I'm also afraid not to have my child vaccinated for obvious reasons. I need advice from your experiences, please! Thanks!!!

Do you have any advice on how to deal with collic. we have tried car rides, sitting in car seat on washing machine, pacifiers, sitting in dark room, walking, rocking, burping, gas drops, "white" noises (like from a sound machine), soft music, bundling, and just letting him cry. None of this seems to work for our 1 month old, does anybody have advice. ps... first time parents.

We plan on calling them when the delivery approaches and I've always stayed home with my daughter and I'm not sure what kind of questions I should ask or what to pay. I live in San Jose California. Please help me with questions that I should ask and things to expect from whoever takes the position. Thank you!!!
