My son was born with grey-blue eyes, as were my brother and I. Our eyes changed color at a few months old, so by what age will my son's eyes change if they're going to change?

I was born with gray eyes and my mother (who loves to tell this story) said that one day when I was 2 years old I woke up from my afternoon nap and my mother was looking at me and couldn't figure out what was different...well, my eyes changed to brown during my nap! Now I am 29 years old and about 2 years ago one eye changed back to gray! My son is 9 months old and was born with gray eyes that have not changed yet, but his pediatrician said that they typically change between 2-4 months. Moral of story: I guess they can change anytime :) (sorry that was a really long story!)

My son is now 7 months old and his eyes finally stopped changing at 5 and a half months. They changed from the steel blue he was born with to a pretty greyish blue and now have settled at hazel (my eyes are brown, my husbands are blue) My pediatrician said they can change for up to a year but they normally stay the same color that they are at 6 months. Also if brown eyes are a chance they normally turn brown earlier then 2 months old.

They usually change color around 4-6 months. Both of my girls were born with beautiful blue eyes. My oldest daughter who is 4 years old is starting to get a little green in her eyes too. I think the age is going to vary.

They can change as early as one month...and usually as late as 6-8 mos. But i know someone whos son had blue eyes until he was a year old and his eyes changed to brown about a month later.

oohh....I think it can vary from child to child.

In my mums group, all of us have half asian-half caucasian children. All the children`s eyes changed at different ages. My little girl changed at about 4 months, but my friends little girl didn`t change until almost 1.

It can take up to a year before a baby's eyes are the color they will be for the rest of its life.
