I know it's possible to become pregnant again after having the baby, before your period returns. How likely is this to happen within the first 6 weeks after baby? I'd like to hear from those who have had this experience. Thanks in advance.

My mom says that honey is one food you should never let a baby taste until it is at least 18 months old. If you do they will develop a rash clear through their digestive system and get diaper rash really bad. Has anyone else heard of this, do you know if it's true or not?

I have noticed so many people get so negative and judgmental with those seem like they are doing this whole mommy thing for the first time. If someone is lost in this wonderful yet very confusing world of parenting and are reaching out for help, shouldn't we be more understanding and loving. I mean they just want to do what is best for their babies or else they wouldn't be asking. Being a new mommy can be very hard, and I don't think that they need all the veteran mommies yelling at them and belittling them. There is lots of information out there in the world and lots of it is bad information. Shouldn't be giving out information about love and caring for your baby in a loving and caring manner?

If you do or you don't please explain why, and what it reminds you of. We're seriously considering it for a girl and just trying to get some last suggestions. Thanks!

My daughter drinks about 38 ounces of formula a day. I recently started feeding her about a tablespoon of rice cereal mid morning along with her formula. She doesnt seem very interested in the taste of the cereal, she'd rather have the bottle. We dont want to start adding stuff to the cereal just so she eats it. She is 19 pounds and 29 inches long. She was 9 pounds 14 ounces at birth. My husband and I are concerned about her weight so we dont want to expose her to fruits because there sweet. I was told veggies are the way to go first so she'll learn to like them. I'm curious as to what the majority of people feed/fed there babies first? Considering her weight she should be ready to move to jar food but is that wise if she doesnt care for rice or oatmeal cereal? Also how much do you feed a baby that size? I usually feed her until she refuses it, spits it out or turns away. Dont you just love all of us new parents on here who dont have a clue... LOL Thanks for any suggestions!

my baby is 7 months she is breast fed most of the time, i give her one bottle of formula a day. I thought if children are breast fed they do not get ear infections but my child did. Is this true or just an old wives tale?

My 17 month has been sick with stomach flu for the past 3 days, I would like to get him back to drink his milk, since he lost alot of weight since he was sick. He doesn't have much appetite, and I want to add honey in his milk, is that safe? I heard infants can get botulism from it, but he's a toddler now or do you have some recipes I can try to get him eat more??
