No, no, no! Please don't give him honey! Why would you even take the chance? Honey in milk? I would wait till he's at least 2 years old. Make some of his fav. foods. Give him popcicles to keep him from getting dehydrated. Fruit and snacks would work too. Foods that are light, like toast or crackers would be easy on his belly and give him the carbs for energy. Good Luck:)

Once a baby is one year of age they can digest honey. Under the age of one they don't have the enzyme to break it down and get botulism. But at 17 months a small amount shouldn't hurt

usually 1 yr is okay for honey. try toast or a muffin with honey on it. it's not to heavy. it should sit in his tummy alright. i've never heard of honey in milk but i don't see that it would hurt. good luck. hope he feels better soon.

He's old enough that he can have honey, but that's not the answer to tummy troubles... just keep offering him milk, when he feels better, he'll eat.

No you can not give an infant honey because it has good cultures in it that babies cant handle yet. I know this because my sister and brother in law are both in medicine and my niece is 2 and they always remind me that she cant have honey until she is 3...

Try offering him blander things...crackers, applesauce, bananas, animal cookies and nila wafers are what my dd likes to eat when shes been sick...and she will only drink water for a couple of days after she has been sick.

After 1 is fine.
If you can get your hand on black-strap molasses that would be better, it is full of iron.
