If a baby didn't eat for sometime but the baby doesn't want to eat when you give them food, are you supposed to hold the baby down and feed them against their will or you dont feed the baby and the baby will eat when they're hungry?

I have a five month old she doesnt get breast fed she gets formula fed but for some reason she always looks at my breasts and grab them. Now i dont go anywhere public but when i have the will power to ever do so I wouldnt want her grabbing my breasts... or other womens breasts for that matter. I've heard other babys do this and I've known of one little boy that they said will grow out of it but at 4 he is still doing this. Can anyone give me any information how to teach her not to grab my breast. She is really young so i dont know if there are any methods but if there are please kindly tell me

At home and daycare she will fall asleep while we (myself and babysitter) are rocking her after she has had her bottle and as soon as we lay her in her crib she starts crying like someone hurt her.. HELP!
At home I let her cry in her crib, but she will cry for an hour and I know I shouldn't give in but I can't listen to her cry for that long it breaks my heart. At daycare she can not let just let her scream because she will wake up the other babies...
Any tips on how we can get her to sleep in her crib??

I am about to begin keeping two infants in my home for a couple friends. I would like to know if anyone out there has any start-up advice! I am certified in CPR/First Aid and have a degree in Childcare.

Silly question... (well, i guess it's not actually since I will be a first time mom)
What do you need when you change the baby.. Obviously you have a clean diaper and wipes. But then do you use baby powder or a lotion on the butt? Or are products like that only needed if the baby has diaper rash (which is from the diaper rubbing right?)
And if a product is needed everytime, does anyone have a favorite choice (like Johnson & Johnson?)

I have a good job, I make pretty good money, but it very hard for me to support my infant son. When he was born, I was very sick and unable to breastfeed, but now (he is 11 weeks) I am finally off medication and able to breastfeed. I am trying to relactate but it is not going well, and for now he is still on formula. I am trying to get child support, but it may be a while. My question is, how can I bridge the gap? I make $50 too much for WIC, but I need help. I would get another job, but I already work 60 hrs a week and pay $150/week for childcare, plus I don't want my son to be in daycare any more than he already is. Any ideas from mom's who have been there? Please don't say dumb stuff like prostitution, I will report you.

My 9 month old takes two 2hr naps at home, but is only taking 20 minute naps (about 4x a day) at day care. I know it's b/c one child wakes up and it starts getting noisy, and it's not dark in the room. When we're out and about he'll sleep in his stroller, but I usually put a light blanket over the canopy to block out the light and some sound. It works well, but I'm not sure how I would drape it over the day care crib.

Anyone have other suggestions for daycare? I wish they made baby sleep masks!

I want to get sensitive wipes because both myself & hubby have sensitive skin and we are buying for a newborn (not-yet-here) so I'm just gunna go ahead and assume he'll have sensitive skin. So, I was wondering... which one is better???
Pampers Sensitive wipes or Huggies Extra Sensitive brand?
Anybody use either on newborn skin? :) Thanks

I was told I could give my 6 month old non-baby juice as long as it is diluted with water, half and half. I'm skeptical, don't i have to give her baby juice or grown up juice (if you will) is okay? Orange, apple, grape, pinapple all is okay? Please help. I want your opinions before I call the pedi.

Is his hair straight or curly?

My daughter's hair is straighter than mine and she is half black, half white. Also her hair color looks kinda gingerish. It's funny.
She is 1 year old now. Do I still have to expect some changes?

My daughter is 8 months old and has hemangioma on her lip and I have had so many options on what to do and I would like to hear from anyone who has been through this before.

The options I have been given are steroids, plastic surgery, or leaving it alone and it might go away.

Only serious answers please. And thanks ahead of time.

Jack russell has been our baby for 4 years, now we have a 11 month baby boy. We really do not want to rehome our dog, but nothing seems to work. We wish the dogs brain could be rewired and it is very heartbreaking to have to loose our fantastic little dog, who is so loving and loyal to us adults??

What's the deal? Should I not check on her? She's only 5 months old.

im due in 2 wks and i keep hearing all these horrible stories about how bad and miserable its going to be when he is first born because i will never get any sleep and i will never get a break and blah blah... i know that it all depends on how your baby is, and that most babies wake up a lot during the night but is it really THAT bad?
