I have a five month old she doesnt get breast fed she gets formula fed but for some reason she always looks at my breasts and grab them. Now i dont go anywhere public but when i have the will power to ever do so I wouldnt want her grabbing my breasts... or other womens breasts for that matter. I've heard other babys do this and I've known of one little boy that they said will grow out of it but at 4 he is still doing this. Can anyone give me any information how to teach her not to grab my breast. She is really young so i dont know if there are any methods but if there are please kindly tell me

At this age, I think they are just grabbing at anything and everything. They are just beginning to gain some control over their movements and practicing a lot! Try holding her hand firmly and telling her that this is "no and it hurts." You may have to do this quite a bit - but she will eventually stop and move on to something else.

My daughter grabs my fiancee's shirt and boobs all the time- the baby doesn't really realize what she's doing. My fiancee just moves her hand and gently says "No, you can't put your had there." She's not being malicious, but at 5 months, they're grabbing at everything they can reach. If you're worried about her doing that in public, try distracting her hands with toys. Have a small stuffed animal or rattle that she can grasp and keep her hands occupied and away from your bosom.

It's normal and she'll grow out of it. Just gently move her hands away from your breast and tell her something like: "You don't touch mommy there." You'll have to do it several times, but eventually she'll get the point. Don't get worked up or make a big deal out of it and it won't be fun for her anymore. Good luck!

she's just a baby, they are soft to touch, my sons all grabbed onto boobs too when they were small. When my son was 2 and a half he started grabbing again and i told him that mommies and girls don't want to be touched like that ot's not nice and he stopped. But babies are just babies, guide their hand away each time without making an issue of it and it will grow old.

It's completely normal and they will grow out of it eventually. Don't make a big deal out of it. If she goes for your boobs, redirect her attention to something else...a toy, a bird, anything. When she's older if she's still doing it, explain that it's not nice to grab people's boobs. But really, it's a very natural and innocent curiosity.

She wants the good stuff! Maybe you're still producing milk and she can smell it? Try letting her latch!

Other than that... she will probably get over it.

reinforce that it is wrong.

Be firm and have the childs father figure do the same.
