I had to take her to urgent care and the doctor I saw perscribed her cough medicine with codene in it. She has had a terrible cough for a week. I then called her regular doctor and asked her about the cough medicine with codene and she said she normally does not perscribe that to young children. My daughter weighs 20 pounds and is 1 1/2 years. My doctor said it is okay to give it to her but told me other things I could try first. I am just wondering has anyone ever given a young child this kind of medicine and if so did it work and was your child okay? They perscribed 1ml and said an adult would have to take 5ml so it is a very low dose.

My wife never likes any of the names I pick out.She did that with our first baby too.But I can't imagine calling our daughter anything else, now.But anyway am I being railroaded?

My son is 7 months and everyone is like its time just over night won't hurt but I'm really unsure. I just moved him out of his crib in our room to his baby bed in his room a month ago. But everyone keeps saying that its time for me and my husband to have a little alone time. What's your imput??? This is my 1st baby and I'm a stay at home momma. So around him all time. The longest me and him has been away from each other is for the day like maybe 5 hours. When he staied with my sister. He has only been alone so far with my sister his godmother and my husband parents. Please Help am I being to overprotective and keeping him too close to me?

I had a baby 6 weeks ago, and i want to know how long after giving birth you have to wait to have sex. It was a vaginal birth, w/o any complications. My 2 month old daughter is pretty dependent on her binki. There is a few times a week that she will sleep well without one, but other times she'll need one, and if it falls out of her mouth she starts crying and we have to keep on putting it back in many times throughout the night! Is there anything I could do to help her sleep better without it? or any techniques to keep it in her mouth!?
