Well first of all you feed her about four ounces of formula or breast milk about every two to three hours or when she puts her hand in her mouth and sucks on it, and makes a sound like nah. When your about two ounces left you need to burp her. support her neck at all times! by holding your hand or arm under her neck, head and back at the same time. to burp her you need to have a cloth to cover your shoulder and some of your chest, place the babies head against your chest with her face were she can breathe. Gently pat the babies back or bottom until she burps, or spits up. finish the bottle and repeat the burping process again.
To change a dirty diaper, wipe her clean with baby wipes. DO NOT FORGET ABOUT HER PRIVATE PLACE!!!!! to clean that you most open the flaps and use a corner of a clean wipe and GENTLY wipe out any yellow or brown mess. Put diaper rash cream on any redness that isn't from the diapers edges. And put on a clean diaper.
To get her to sleep, hold her in your arms with her laying with her head supported by your arm. gently sway back and forth, and walk around with her and talk to her in a low soft voice.
ounce asleep put her in her crib or down on a bed with pillows surrounding her so she doesnt go anywere, make sure none of the pillows are in her face . NEVER put her on her belly to sleep. its not safe, she could suffocate, you dont want that to happen. if she doesnt stay asleep for every long < shorter that an hour> try rubbing her belly gently and sining a soft lolly bye to her. comfort her by talking to her and telling her shes going to be fine. TELL HER YOU LOVE HER!!!!
And you will find great help with Help Me Grow. to find the place nearest you contact your local job and family and tell them your situation and ask for the contact info for your local Help Me Grow.

Sounds like an odd question, somehow..
An baby needs to be eating every 3-4 hours, anywhere from 2-4 oz, some don't take much the first few weeks, others do. If yourbreast feeding you may feed more often, if your bottle feeding it may be a little more time in between. Change the diaper of course, should be having nearly 6 maybe more I forget how many my newborns went through but if each is wet and or dirty throughout the day when you check things are good.
Make sure you burp them, little tummies need to be burped often, rock them , hold them. Call your doctor or the pediatrition if you really don't know how to care for a child so young, it's no time to be guessing on what to do.
Good luck!

Circumcision has no real benefits and many drawbacks. Most countries don't even do it anymore, but sadly the US is not among them. Circumcision can only damage the penis, but a small group of pro-circumcision activists in the US, many of them doctors, have clouded the issue, making it difficult for parents to make the right choice. Too bad you didn't know about the drawbacks, otherwise you might not have gone through with it. It sounds like your son has had some serious vascular or nervous damage which has caused his penis to stop growing. The best you can do is see a specialist AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to see if anything can be done and then work to stop the same thing happening to other kids. People generally don't understand how unnecessary circumcision is, or how much damage can be done - or how common severe complications are. Believe it or not, your son is one of the lucky ones. He's alive. Many victims of circumcision (hundreds per year) die from complications such as the one your son seems to have suffered. Note that, although there is a statute of limitations on lawsuits, the window on a lawsuit only closes a period of time after the VICTIM realizes what's been done to him. As I understand it, the date of the actual malpractice doesn't matter. That means that you or your son could sue the doctor. Also, be aware that you could also be sued if your son blames you for allowing the doctors to circumcise him. You take on a lot of risk when you sign off on a cosmetic procedure on someone who cannot consent to it - especially when things go wrong.

She will drink anywhere from 2-4 ounces every 3-4 hours. Change her diaper every time before you feed her so she can go right to sleep Eventually she'll start to eat more and go longer between feedings but that won't happen for a couple of months. Cuddle her every time you feed her so she feels loved. Don't EVER EVER EVER prop her bottle up, it can drain into her ear canal and cause a serious ear infection. Hold her in the crook of your arm slightly sitting, it's also easier for her to start digestion....gravity helps things go down.

Love her and love her some more. New borns sleep, eat, and dirty their pants. Make sure she is eating at least every 4 hours maybe more and don't forget to burp her about half way into the bottle and at the end. Change her when needed and keep her warm. Don't forget to clean the umbilical cord too.
Trust your instincts and find someone to help you and encourage you. An aunt, another mom, friend with children or someone to ask questions of is very helpful.

You have to trust your instincts! Do what you think and you will be alright. If your baby is crying, try to figure out why. Is she wet? Hungry? Hot? Cold? Wanting to be Held? If you get a little frustrated give yourself credit, but if you have a baby that is really fussy and you feel like you just need a break, call someone to help you for a little while. There is no shame in asking for help. At some point, we all need it and want it. Good luck.

is she yours? Make sure you're giving her enough to eat. A 7 day old needs to be drinking 3-4 oz of formula every 3 hours. That is the most important thing...

DO:Love her, cuddle her, sing to her, talk to her, feed her when she is hungry and change her when she is dirty. Let her sleep, when she is tired, in her cot, crib or moses basket. Enjoy her.
DON'T: worry about the fact that the house is a bomb site, you are still in your dressing gown at 5pm and you havn't cooked for a week. Feel like you have to entertain the visitors. Use her nap time to do the ironing - use her nap time to have a rest yourself, you will be up all night so you need it!
