My baby is nine months and she wants to get into everything. I know exactly how you feel. You spend every second they are awake running behind them to stop them getting into stuff. Then when they go to sleep you just have enough time to tidy up their mess and maybe grab something to eat before they wake up again.

I have a baby walker with toys on the tray for my daughter and she loves it as it makes her that little bit more independant.

Give her things like a calculator and an old mobile phone or a toy mobile phone and then she thinks she has things that she isn't allowed and therefore she is more interested in them.

Toys toys and more toys. My son is only 6 months old and he can entertain himself for a long time when I show him different toys. He discovers them, chews on them and when he is bored he throws them on the floor lol. He also likes to watch tv. Blues Clues and Sesame street are good shows as they are educational as well as entertaining for a baby, you could also try babuy einstein movies. Sometimes all you have to do is sit down and taalk to your baby and he/she will be entertained. Theres a lot you can do, read a story, try new toys, turn n the tv (just not for to long) your child loves to take in new things and will be open to them.

My toddler is 9 months and he or she needs to get into each and every little thing. i understand precisely the way you sense. You spend each and every 2d they are wakeful working in the back of them to stop them moving into stuff. Then while they pass to sleep you in simple terms have adequate time to tidy up their mess and perhaps grab some thing to consume in the previous they awaken back. I actually have a toddler walker with toys on the tray for my daughter and he or she loves it because it makes her that little bit extra independant. supply her issues like a calculator and an previous cellular telephone or a toy cellular telephone and then she thinks she has issues that she isn't allowed and subsequently she is extra attracted to them.

move anything you don't want her getting into out of her reach. if there's something around that she shouldn't play with, she'll find it and tear it apart. that's what babies are best at, especially at 10 months. make sure there's plenty of toys for her to entertain herself with. if you have the space allow her to have a low cabinet in your kitchen. (put locks on the others.... they make baby-proofing cabinet locks) fill this cabinet with plastic containers, plastic spoons, and baby-safe pots and pans. she will get a kick out of "discovering" these things and making lots of noise.

Your baby is how old? Well, you can keep them active by playing with them, singing, talking, reading, floor time, swing (if not too big), walker or exersaucer (if old enough)...toys, the list could go on and on, hope this helps...I do find that my daughter loves when I talk to her and when we dance. :)

how old is your baby? peek-a-boo and reading are good ways to entertain. if you need a short break i'd suggest putting on a short video like kidsongs or a disney show. teach her tricks too, like patty-cake and clapping or blowing zerberts. i know someone who taught their baby to whistle!

clear as much floor room as possible and stick her in the middle and let her go (with supervision of course)

Why don't you let her "BE" as busy and active as "SHE" wants to be? Are you a conrol freak? Psychologist or what? If it ain't right with you, it ain't right with /for anybody?
