She's quick, but that's okay. I know experts say the more crawling time they do, the better their reading is. I don't understand how they correlate the two, but my daughter walked early, (8 mos.) and she was a great student. (BTW, she's now 25 and making $65 thousand a year) Go figure. Don't worry, be happy she's developing in a positive way. You're doctor will tell you the same. Just keep encouraging her. You may have a genius in the making. Good luck.

Sounds like she's hitting the milestones a bit early. I certainly would not call it strange be proud of her. My daughter has hit all of her milestones right on time. A friend of ours who's daughter is a month older than mine didn't start walking until she was about 15 months old but had a 60+ word vocabulary while my daughter could only say a couple of words. All babies are different.

I have known babies crawl at 4 months, and toddlers who didn't talk untill they were 2 1/2. both were unusual but not abnormal. There really is no such thing as 'normal'.
Your baby is advanced but this will even out in the end. She just wants to be up and doing things - you will probably have a handful in a month or two!!
