When my little girl was born, my brother gave her a time capsule. You get them in mothercare or on eBay, lots of places have them. Inside they put: coins and notes from the year she was born, letters from all our immediate family, number one hit the day she was born, a newspaper from the day she was born, a list of shopping prices like bread, milk, the price of petrol etc., some photos of us all, details of fashion and what was happening in the soaps. We plan to give it to her when she's either 18 or 21, it'll be good to look back although I'm sure it'll seem like yesterday!

I, too, am going to plug myself. I make CUSTOM diaper cakes. I ship anywhere and can work with just about any budget. I have seen prayer animals that could be used as a topper. I can include neccesities, toys, bath products, clothing....WHATEVER you would want.

Check out my site, they are pretty awesome!!

maybe something from Argos? They have a lovely selection, or collectables, if its something you want the baby to have when it's older?
