She's just difficult, or at least it's hard for me to figure out how to do things...
Examples:
She doesn't want to hold her sippy cup, no matter how much I try to encourage her to do it.
She won't let me read to her, she snatches the book and starts chewing on it.
She won't let me feed her! yet she won't eat finger foods, and if I give her a spoon to feed herself, she just bangs on the tray and makes a mess... she won't let me help her put food in the spoon, so I'm afraid she's not getting enough food in her belly...
I try talking to her pediatrician, but he's not very "comunicative" (a.k.a, helpful)

What can I do?...

Thanks!

I have a 9 month old daughter. During the night she sleeps nine straight hours wakes up for milk then sleep another 2 hours... but during the day she is awake 13 hours and she only sleeps noce or twice and only 30 minutes counted with the clock and to get her to sleep those 30 minutes I spend almost 45 trying to get her to sleep... How can I make her sleep more or how can I make her go to sleep in a easier way??? Please!!!

My infant son always wakes up with scatches on his face. I've trimmed his nails and filed them but he still scratches himself. I know I could put mittens on him, but he sucks on his fingers at night to put himself to sleep. Any other suggestions?

The back of my 2 month old son's head is flat. I'm always playing with him although he does spend time on his back playing during the day. I make sure I change his position at night, but his head does not seem to be filling out. Will it always stay this way?

Was an accident before Xmas 06 hitting the glass coffee table edge and cut his lip sharp and long. Is it really still too young now (18-m) for doing anything?.... Any real good practical and tried treatment? He is even quite over-reacted and too scared to show doctors the wound after months of the accident. So doctors could hardly examin the scar. It is actually almost 2 cm long (0.5cm on lower lip and 1.5cm on face) Im so so upset and worried.

My husband and I are considering starting a family and I need a great OBGYN who ideally is associated with Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, CA. We just moved to the area and need to find a great doctor. Can anyone recommend someone that they have had a great experience with - through childbirth, etc? Thanks in advance!

We both looked at our baby growth charts and we were both at least 25 inches by her age. Should we be concerned. It looks like the population of women are also getting smaller so is this normal?

if your baby had/has reflux when did they grow out of it and what did you do to help it? i found a great website on reflux with forums and it is real easy to use. its called www.infantrefluxdisease.com you can post about your worries and check with other experienced mums about your babies symptoms and see if they think its reflux. the site has really been a lifesaver for me and alot of other parents.

My 9 month old has always been hard to get to sleep...at around 6 months...for some reason i ended up lying down with her and she babbled and then went to sleep no problem...so I continued to do that. Anyways...now that she has learned to sit up from lying down...she won't lie in bed anymore...as she would just lie there till she fell asleep...so i started putting her in the crib...first few days went great...but the last 2 days...she screams till she goes to sleep...I hate to hear her like that...anyone with ideas to get her to sleep without the screaming??
