Im 17 and I had a baby a month 4 days after my birthday. I dont regret having her at all, but sometimes i get really frustrated cuz i have to spend all day at home taking care of her. My boyfriend, on the other hand, has the chance to go out everyday (to work, but at least is something), to play soccer with his friends on his days off, or simply going to visit his parents. Is it ok for me to go out? or should I wait for the baby to get a lil older?

My son is 8 months old and just cut his 3rd tooth the other day. He's also cutting another one so he'll have 4 on the bottom and none on the top! But my question is how many times a day should I be brushing his teeth? I have a little infant tooth brush for him and want to get him into a routine now, so it's hopefully easier when he's older. Should it be the same times as I do? Or do I need to brush them after every meal? What do you do? Thanks, all help is appreciated!

My daughter and I are getting a bit of "cabin fever"...it's too cold (we live in NH) to go outside and I'm running out of things to keep her entertained. I've tried reading to her, playing with her with toys, "dancing" with her to music...but I don't have any other ideas. What are some of your suggestions? Thx. :)

I can pump 3oz of milk from one breast in about 10 minutes with a manual pump - is this normal or do I have too much milk?

Our daughter is 2 and a half months old. She usually goes to be at 10:30pm and gets up once of twice during the night and then usually gets up for the day between 8-8:30am. She is usually getting about 9 hours of sleep a night.
My question is... is this normal? All the books make it sound like they should be going to bed at 7pm and getting up for the day at 8am. I am just wondering if she is sleeping enough at night?
Any thoughts?

My daughter is almost 8 months old and she seems sleepy to me. I guess I am ready for her to be up to play more. She typically goes to bed between 9 and 9:30 and is up by 7:30-8:00. She takes a nap at 10 (usually for 2 hours) and another nap around 2:30 (again 2 hours). She sometimes will take a "cat nap" (30 min. - 1 hour) around dinner time. Does this seems normal?

I'm just curious. It seems to be a fairly common practice, but I've never actually known someone who did it, or WHY they do it.

At what age can i start giving my child juice to drink?

2007-02-07 04:59:39 · 22 answers · asked by SSV 2

I try not to feed him everytime he wakes up, but once I've settled him again he will only settle for a maximum of 1 hour. He grows a centile in weight every month (having started 2 under average). The health visitor isn't worried about overfeeding, and has monitored how I feed etc. but having so much disturbance in sleep for so long is really getting me down. I'd much rather not resort to bottle if avoidable. Any advice?!
