He just wants me to hold him all the time, when i set him down he will cry and cry but he is totally fine, i hate to just let him cry but its to the point where i cant even eat because i am always holding him. but alot of times i let him cry for 10 minutes then go get him but then that shows him that crying really does work and i dont want that, so i try to wait till he stops but he dont.

I'm really worried :-( I just had a c-section because I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, and my beautiful baby boy had to be delivered a little bit early (36 weeks). But I've been having a hard time breastfeeding my baby because there's no milk flowing. When will I be able to feed him breast milk?

My son just won't sleep unless he is being held. i know I have created this needy habit. I tried letting him CIO a month ago and he cried longer and longer everday and then on the fourth night slept all the way through the night with no crying only to start the crying all over again on nights 5 6 and 7 at which point we gave up. He gets up every hour on the hour pretty much and won't stop crying until he gets picked up and then either nursed or rocked back to sleep and if I put him back down to quickly he stands up and is trying to climb out of the crib into my arms. Screaming and sobbing. I know he is not hungry at night or a diaper problem or teething. As soon as I pick him up it stops immediately. I am desperate and it is starting to affect my marriage not to mention our 2 1/2 old that sleeps in the next room. I am tired of sleeping in a chair holding him all night because he won't let me put him down. please help me I am desperate to try anything. Do i just lay him back down?

My maternity leave ends next week, and I will be returning to the office two days a week, working from home the other three.

My 3-month-old and I have been exclusively breastfeeding since she was born.

I'm a lousy pumper, can only get an ounce or less no matter how long I try.

Any ideas what I can do so I don't take a major hit to my milk supply?

My son had his six month checkup yesterday and weighed in at 14.8 lbs wich put him in the 25th percentile for weight. The doctor said that this is a problem because he has been in the 50th percentile up until now. My sons height and head circumference remains in the 50th though. So he has to go back and be weighed again in a month. So of course I come home and and am feeling like crap and worried because my son's doctor isn't happy with his weight (although he did gain weight since last visit just not enough to keep him in the 50th percentile) I did tons of researching last night and found this>>

My doctor told me that giving my daughter cereal before bedime will help her sleep through the night but I have read posting on here that say it is a myth. So which is it myth or true?

Honestly it didn't make my daughter sleep any longer she still wakes up 1 or 2 times a night for a bottle.

I have just started this today, this is her first nap of the day and I put her in her crib, I thougt that by putting her in her crib she will notice that crib means sleep and will be able to sleep better in the night ( I have an other post about sleeping all night) Is it a good idea to put her in her crib for nap time? Thank-you.

My 6mo wears footie pajamas to bed most nights. The next morning, he usually stays in his pjs unless he gets messy, or we have to go out somewhere.

Would it be weird if I leave him in his pjs to go to the store, post office, etc while he's still this little? Sometimes I don't want to bother wrestling him into different clothes. :/

Who else has a child that sucks his thumb? my 1 year old boy does it...it's so cute!!! I'd rather have that than a pacifier...that looks worse to me and you constanly lose it. the thumb is attached(smile)...my daughter is 8 years old and has sucked her thunb since she was a baby....she has good teeth that does not require braces.

My baby is 15 weeks and I have started to add rice cereal to his formula due to reflux. However I noticed he doesn't eat as frequently as he use to but still eats about 8 oz each feeding. As far as I know he is putting on wieght( he is already 16lbs/8oz) I just wanted to know if adding the cereal changes the frequency of eating.
