It depends. If you are overweight it's not as big deal as if you are severely obese. See I am overweight and I am expecting my 2nd baby and the first was born only 9 months ago! (They will be 12 months apart or so.) I have never had any health problems related to being overweight. I had slightly elevated blood pressure in the 3rd trimester but I know women who are thin as a stick and they had worse blood pressure problems than I did. My blood sugar level was also fine. Also due to severe morning sickness I lost 15-20 lbs both times. Delivery wasn't harder than normal either - and the pushing part was only 10 minutes.
So overall I'd say it depends on your general health as well but you should be fine if you're mildly/ moderately overweight. If you're severely obese, definitely ask your doctor first but keep in mind that there are plenty of obese women who conceive and give birth without major complications while there are many very skinny women with serious health issues too. Overall it's good for you to lose weight but not necesserily because of pregnancy - rather for your own overall health.
Good luck!

With my first one I gained 50 pounds (190). I lost all but about 10 (150). By the time I was pregnant again I had kept the 10 from previous and added about 30 more (180). Then I gained 23 pounds with the second one (203). Now I have lost down to what I weighed before I got pregnant the second time (180). I need to lose more to get back to a healthy weight, but it's so hard!! I am just so unevenly proportioned nothing fits anymore.

I was overweight before my 1st son and I lost weight when I was pregnant with him. I was too healthy and I only gained 15 lbs. He was perfect and gained the weight off of me. I have never ate so healthy. Some health issues can happen if you are dieting and you may not get all the nutrients you may need for a healthy pregnancy. Enjoy!!

You should go ahead and have another child as long as you and your partner are happy with the situation that is aoll that matters there will be plenty of time for you to lose wait after the child is born but your child grows everyday and it might be too late for you to concieve in time to have an age comparison with both children

Go for it. You can still eat sensibly while pregnant. I am overweight and got pregnant. I ate a very sensible diet, and actually lost weight when I was pregnant (monitored by my Dr) You can still maintain while pregnant.

It depend on how over weight you are. I'm not ashamed to admit am a little over weight and now am expectin my second child, my son is 4yrs old.if you desperately want another one just now then go and have some fun trying. But try not to get disappointed if it takes a little longer this time round to get pregnant.
good luck whatever you decide

Lose the weight first ..getting pregnant when you are already over weight can cause alot of complications for you as well as the baby.

depends on how overweight you are. i have no idea what a stone is or how much that would weigh. however, women can be overweight and have no problems. obese women can have some major complications.
