Don't be so over cautious you are miserable and make your son and husband miserable, I know that isn't your intention but sometimes we need to consciously think it to calm ourselves. If you are nursing your son you are way ahead of the sickness. Just remember to wash your hands, of course cough and sneeze away from the little guy and just try and relax. He will know if you are stressed and he will become stressed too. I bet you are a wonderful mom or you wouldn't be trying to seek any helpful solutions for your family. If he does end up getting sick, it won't last too long. Stay at home moms have that advantage (in my opinion) of not being continually exposed and yet not being in a sterile box. That is best for babies and children if you can make that choice. We have to expose our children to some things, noise for sleeping, germs that his immune system can get trained to fight, etc. Overloading a little guy or adult is not good at all. Enjoy being a mom and at home, remember all the cute and funny times and don't worry so much. I am sure you are a great mom.

If you can, get to a doctor and find out what you have. If it's bacterial, the doctor can give you anitbiotics not only make you better sooner but can also make you non-contagious. Are you breastfeeding? That helps tremendously! The baby gets your antibodies that you body is making to battle whatever you have so the odds of the baby getting sick are a lot lower. Wash your hands often and see if you can get someone to help you with the baby so you can sleep for a little while. You might just need to sleep it off. I hope that helps.

There is only so much you can do since you have to be the one to take care of him. Just be sure to wash your hands a bunch. I also like to use hand sanitizer for those times in between washing my hands. I try to use that Lysol disinfect spray alot around the house when any of us are sick. Try not to kiss a breath on him a bunch. (I know it seems almost impossible not to kiss them.) Get yourself on some medicine. Hopefully you can hurry up and kick whatever you are coming down with. Good luck.

sometimes it's good for children to get virus as it builds up there immune system .when i came out of hospital with my premature baby my other daughter had a very bad cough and the baby got it and had trouble breathing .but that's helped her in the long run as in five years she hardly ever ill .and if she does it;s only a little cold .there is eight children in our house and we never get really ill like flu stomach bugs and so on .but my friend has one she sterilizes everything gets the runs sickness and her GP has told her she's to sterile the kid needs germs to help fight bigger germs.so let you child catch it and it will help in the long run and you take care of yourself and get better soon

You can buy disposable paper masks at the pharmacy. We had to use them because my granddaughter's immune system is not what it should be.
