Yes, it sounds like baby is finally ready to come out! A week before my son was born, I started feeling really nauseous and had loose stools. My doctor never told me that this was a sign of labor but many women I've talked to have said that they experienced the same things. My braxton-hicks contractions also got a lot stronger. Sometimes they were so uncomfortable, I actually had to sit down. Congratulations, and good luck!

Absolutely...I wouldn't be surprised if you went into labor any minute now (or at least the next day or two). Loose stool is one sure sign that labor is approaching. It is a come and go thing, so that you feel great now doesn't mean that labor is not near. At 38 weeks loose stool is a great indicator that your little one is about to make an arrival. Good luck!

Sounds like you either got something bad to eat or you've got a touch of a stomach flu.
However, loose stools is something that happens shortly before labor kicks in.
Good luck and I hope your labor goes well and comes soon!!!

Could be. I didnt throw up with any of my preganacies that late in the game, but DID have diareah right before the onset of labor with all 3 of my preganacies. Good luck!!

yes, loose stools are actually a sign of upcomming labor. it's the body's natural way of cleaning itself out and preparing for delivery. good luck!!

"Many women have multiple bowel movements of loose stool days before labor begins. This is nature's way of emptying out the bowels to prepare the body for delivery." quoted from pregnancyweekly.com

That sounds like signs of labor. I had the same symptoms with my first (minus the vomiting) and delivered a week later. Make sure you report it to your doctor and get that bag ready. Best wishes on the delivery and congratulations.

Throwing up is not a sign of onset labor. You probably have a little bug in your system. Get some rest and drink lots of fluids. I wish you the best and if you are ever concerned please consult your dr. Congrats on baby!!!
