We want a name for our son, we like Marcus Cole, but it seems it reminds people of MUCUS or COLDS so maybe this won't work. What do you honestly think?.

What do you think about the name HAYDEN for a girl, it is a boys name but not overly used, maybe it would be better for a girl???

His 15 month check up was a few weeks early and he was not checked by his regular doctor. Head size hasnt changed much since his last check up and his moms side had big heads. 15 word vocabulary and he is active but he doesn't walk well yet. 5 steps before he goes to crawl. We were in a small room for the last 7 months and he just didnt get much opportunity to practice walking. Now have a 2 br place and he has his own room and loves to walk holding one hand or grabbing things as he goes. This new doctor is asking for thyroid blood test and possible a cat scan while he is sedated. Everything I've read said it can take up to 2 years for a soft spot to close and no doctor has mentioned any sort of concern at any prior check up. Ill get the blood test but am scared to have him sedated w/radiation exposure just because the new doctor walks in and expresses concern. Is it ok to wait it out a while longer to see his walking get better and soft spot close more or is it all of a sudden urgent?

I do not want any tough names from old times.
Name should be simple, easy to spell, may be little naughty and most importantly - should not not too common.

My now 7 month old son finally slept through the night when he was almost 4 and a half months old. When he turned 6 months old he begun waking again. Usually just for a few ounces of formula then he'd go back to sleep. His Dr told me NOT to give him formula during the night he was "to old" and that giving it to him was "just letting him know it was okay to wake to eat and he'd grow up to be fat".He told me to let him cry he'd go back to sleep and my husband who has NEVER gotten up with him during the night agreed. Well here is the thing the little guy will NOT stop crying if I do not give him formula.Ive tried to give him just H2O but he can ofcourse tell the differance.Lately he's waking and staying awake for almost 2 hours and in that 2 hours we are sitting in the living room and he is playing.I tried to avoid this but it is the ONLY thing other then giving him a bottle that keeps him from crying. Ive tried laying in a dark room with him and even giving him formula but

Our 3 day old baby girl has just spent the whole night crying. We called the hospital and they said to just keep on giving her milk which didnt really help much.Is it normal for such a young baby to go thru the night with less than an hours sleep? Should we be worried?

Since he was about a month, the rash seemed to come and go. I have used a number of prescriptions but they dont work. Also he has been on formula since birth. He is now 5 months old. I am figuring out whether i should change his formula and see if it helps. The rash is particularly worse on his cheeks, it is round and red. Could it be the formula? Please help my poor little boy.
