I'm pretty sure that this is not what you were going for when you "picked" out the name for your son, but I have checked several (mostly reliable) online sources for the meanings of names and this is what that search has discovered:

CAMERON
Gender: Masculine & Feminine

Usage: Scottish, English

Pronounced: KAM-u-run, KAM-run [key]

From a Scottish surname meaning "crooked nose" from Gaelic cam "crooked" and sròn "nose". The Camerons were one of the great Highland clans.

Believe it or not I looked it up on two websites and the name means Bent or Crooked Nose. It is Celtic/Gaelic
