Good for you! If the coat needs to be reversed before washing, make sure you read the entire label and see how to dry it. Will you need to dry it on a low setting (without heat) or hang it out to dry? Turning it inside out just means washing it with the inside showing...keeps the outside protected from the tumbling. Wash it with other like clothing...same type of material and color. I always hand wash my kids' coats, then hang them in the bathroom to dry. I hate the way clothes smell when you hang them outside to dry. Good luck!!!

Go DAD!! See I knew I didn't have the ONLY husband that helped out! LOL And your children will benefit from seeing daddy help out around the house!! (rememebr, daughters marry their daddy-so be the man you want for her!)
The tag is on the "inside" even on a reversable garment.
If it's a wash inside out garment I usually wash it on the slowest setting and then dry on low. Due to the fact that this direction usually means there is decoration that can be damaged/come off if it is washed on hig speed or high heat.
Good luck! And your wife and children are blessed to have you!

If one side of the coat is fuzzy or has a decal or decoration on it or writing, you want that side to be inside so you won't cause damage to the decoration. If both sides have decoration, I don't know what to tell you! Whatever side the tag is on that you read or wherever you read "Turn inside out before washing", just turn it inside out! If you want to avoid being in trouble just call your wife or wait until she gets home and let her wash the coat!

Well, make sure your daughter is out of the coat first before trying.
Pull the arms (of the coat) so they are on the inside. Nothings going to happen if you dont do this by the way. They do it to confuse helpful dads.
If your wife catches you the its you that gets turned inside out.....any which way she can.
