I would be careful depending on how young the child is, it would probably cost you more to have one repaired then to just get another they are fairly cheap. but if you can't afford a new one I gues good ol duct tape will do the job.

If you can't find the mesh, maybe the play pen is too old? I know that the ones they used to have (square) have been taken off the market b/c they were dangerous. If you have a new model, from within the last few years, I would check the website of the manufacturer. The new ones are not called playpens anymore, but they are travel beds....

I think I would just cut your losses and get a new one. It's better safe than sorry when it comes to your little one :)
