how wrong or in what ways is it wrong for my child if i answer him his "how does this work/happen" questions with fantasy reasons
for example, if he asks me "why r there bubbles in the champagne?" would it be bad if i answered him something like "there's tiny tiny kids swimming in there and blowing bubbles"
?

we came home from a 14hr flight from Australia, (Australia was cold, and now here in USA is hot). I also shared a bed with him for a month while o/s. Now he is congested in the nose here in USA. (Is that the plane?) And when he wakes up. he doesn't go back to sleep till 4.30am. He is also very clingly to me too. I have tried the milk, I don't like to give in drugs all the time, but i have been giving him the decongestant.

First off I dont have thoughts of hurting my 5 month old. Shes the only person that puts a smile on my face. Besides that I am really depressed. I feel as if im so alone and that no one cares about me. Ive been depressed since the middle of my pregnancy and now I cry sooo much and have thoughts of hurting myself...jumping in front of cars, slitting my wrist, taking pills, shotting myself(thank god I dont have acces to a gun). My mom only talks to me when she wants or need something. I havent talked to my dad since February because he is mad that I was having a baby and I miss him alot but am too stubborn to call him. My boyfriend is always working and when he isnt it seems like he doesnt have any time for me or just wants sex. I dont like to have sex because I feel so unattractive and gained alot of weight. Im also on Depo. I never do my hair and keep it tied up. I never leave the house because I dont want to be seen unless I go to the store, an appointment, or class. I need help

He doesn't have teeth yet but it's still very unpleasant. I only breastfeed. He only gets a bottle when I go out which was once in 4 months. He only does it on one side. His least favorite side, of course. He seems to get really angry all of a sudden, then clamps down and pulls.
The night before last, I got a sharp pain when he was latched on. The next morning it felt like I had a blocked duct. I know your supposed to let them clear it out by feeding on that side, so I did. That's when it started. I switch him back and forth but his last feeding tonight was on that side, I thought he was posessed. Please help. What can i do to make that stop. He's not quite old enough to ween.

I thought I heard you should not give breastfed babies anything other than breastmilk/formula for the first 6 month. Is that true?

My 3wk old always gets hicups while trying to burp her. Is that normal for breastfed babies? Also supplementing 2oz. formula to increase weight gain.

It is so hard to find clothes that fit her? Anyone find any solutions that work? Some 6/9 month clothes are too big in the waist but too short, and some 12 month stuff is just long enough but too big in the waist! I don't know what to do? I've found that I can never go wrong with dresses, but it will be getting cooler here in Iowa soon and that's not an option for too much longer!!!

I have a 9 month old baby boy. Up until about a 5 days ago he would sleep all through the night..basically from 7 at night until 6 or so in the morning. However the past few days he seems to hate being put to sleep and wakes up at least once a night as if he is fully awake and it takes at least 2 to 3 (or more) hours of crying to get him back to sleep. My wife and I try everything, we change him and feed him as soon as he wakes up, (normally if he woke up before the changing and the feeding would send him right back to sleep until morning)....but now after the feeding he stays awake and sort of wants to play but at the same time he looks exhausted and whines and cries alot. He cries if we carry him, if we put him down, if we play with him, or if we try to put him to sleep. I do plan on taking him to his doctor if this keeps up..but its Sat. night and his doctor won't be available until Tues. So any advice? any at all??????

No one, NO ONE can tell me that abortion should be a "choice" for women and make me believe it. I know for some women it's hard to talk about the subject because they may have experienced it, but don't you feel that something has to be done? I know you pro-choice people out there realize deeeeeep down there that abortion is wrong. You have no right to take the life of an innocent child. That child could be the one to discover the cure for cancer and other sicknesses. Don't think that I'm some stupid person who doesn't know anything. I have done research. I KNOW what I'm talking about. Please, concider the millions of innocent lives inside their only protection-their mother. You can't even imagine being a helpless baby inside your mother, the only protection you have and she wants to get rid of you. I don't want to be harsh, but I know I need to show my view on this vital subject. I'm praying for the un-born, are you?

Our 6 month old daughter is now sleeping in her crib at nights, but she wakes us up at least 8 times a night wanted her pacifier. If we don't give it to her she will keep screaming and crying till she wakes up for good and then stays up. How can we get her to sleep through the night, and not wake us up everytime her pacifier fall out of her mouth. Help? If I let her cry it out will she eventually not need the pacifier to get to sleep?

His name is Isaak Rhys (not my child), and was born 3 months premature about two weeks ago. In the past few days, he has developed a high fever, and the doctors think he may not make it. PLEASE, say a prayer for him, or if you're not religious, make a wish or send him your love or SOMETHING - I don't want to get into the whole religious issue here.

Why do people constantly wind my baby, as soon as she cries they insist on the fact she has wind!?!

My baby is 3 months old and has no difficulty with wind, she now moves her body into positions to get it up herself, yet people still wind her, which she hates and drives me mad. Do people not realise babies also cry for other reason apart from wind!

Can anyone else relate to this and how have you handled it?

Can mothers like sense where their baby is while their sleeping? Because my wife fell asleep while breastfeeding the baby and she was moving around and like never touch or squashed the baby whatsoever.
