You are probably going to have to watch your baby's skin for a bit after you remove the diaper. It may be just a temporary line due to the material of the diaper pressing on the skin. If the line remains there for more that a few minutes, the diapers you are using may be a bit too small and you need to try the nest larger size. If the lines fade away, the baby is fine; and it is only because of normal pressure of the material on her skin. Just think about when you undress and you may have some creases and reddish marks on your skin from where your jeans have rubbed up against your skin. Have a good night!

No they aren't, it sounds to me like you have them on too tight.

Why don't you try cloth diapers instead of disposables. The cloth diapers won't leave a angry red line around the legs like the plastic on the disposables do.

If you use cloth, you won't be putting plastic, paper and chemicals against your baby's skin and there will be less chance of diaper rashes not to mention that they will be cheaper in the long run. On top of that you won't be putting all that paper, plastic, chemicals and human wastes into our landfills polluting our environment and taking decades to decay.

It's your baby's health and comfort you should be thinking of not your own convenience.

Good luck.

Yes...if they are dark red lines then the diapers is too tight. If they are light red lines then don't worry it is just from the elastic in the diaper.

Possibly. It leaves lines because of the actions of the child, rubbing against the skin.

It is the diaper rubbing the baby when he'she moves around.

It's fine. Its just like when you take your pants off or a watch.... they go away soon after and even come when the item its tight. Don't worry about it. It's normal

yeah, that happens to my daughter too. but most of the time, it's because they were sitting in their walker or bouncer or just in one place a lil while. a baby's skin is also more sensitive then ours. so any kind of pressure can cause a mark or a rash.
