Yes totally normal. They will become less and less as she gets older. A little hint though. If she has the hiccups, put her on your breast for a few minutes and they will go away. My midwife told me to do this and it worked every time. Also if you feel that your baby isn't gaining enough weight, I would suggest actually stopping the formula. Your body will make up what the baby needs and start producing more. Breastfed babies are actually bigger than formula fed babies. God Bless Here's a helpful website if you're concerned about your babys weight gain.

Some babies get hiccups a lot. It's more upsetting to mom and dad than it is to the child usually.
2 oz of formula per day or per feed? Are you working to increase your supply? Supplementing this early can really do a number on your supply! Make sure you are pumping any time she is having a supplement so you can eventually work on cutting out the formula.

its been a whilst on account that i had a touch one, yet i dont think of 4oz each and every 3 hrs is a lot for his age. if he's screaming for nutrition, i might deliver his feeds slightly nearer at the same time so which you will get some milk into him in the previous he's ravenous, that way he shouldnt gulp so hungrily. you could develop the time between feeds as quickly as you have this nailed. i be responsive to this could sound stupid, as your on infant variety 4, you prob try this already, yet to grant you a head start up prepare each and all of the bottles in develop once you have a quiet time interior the day or night, so while he starts your slightly speedier getting his feed waiting. Dont forget approximately at the back of the formular field it provide you with a coarse handbook of what volume your little you are going to be having in a feed and how frequently as a handbook. if your infant varies lots from the guidlines communicate on your well-being customer or midwife.

Congratulations on your little baby. As a mom of three I remember hiccups are perfectly normal in infants. Of course call your pediatricians office if you are worried. Little babies get hiccups just like we do. You may want to give the baby a small water bottle.

My daughter used to get hiccups constantly! I put a little bit of sugar on her binky or bottle to stop them and it worked wonders! Also if your baby is gassy, as mine was, try laying the baby across your lap with her belly on your knee and gently pat her back. This really helped my daughter. Of course, there is always pushing her legs up for a few seconds. This works too!
