His name is Isaak Rhys (not my child), and was born 3 months premature about two weeks ago. In the past few days, he has developed a high fever, and the doctors think he may not make it. PLEASE, say a prayer for him, or if you're not religious, make a wish or send him your love or SOMETHING - I don't want to get into the whole religious issue here.

I have prayed for Isaak and his family.... My heart goes out to them all. I just met a 9 month old that was premature - born at 26 weeks....She is doing VERY well. I pray the same for Isaak. Please continue to be there for this family....My blessings are with you and them.

The family will definitely be in my thoughts. I hope he gets better.

My babies were preemies and we went through some scares with them too. The best thing you can do for them is help out and be there. Offer to help around the house and pay bills, do errands and mundane things like that so they can spend time with their son in the NICU. Try bringing them meals so that they can eat, they will feel that their eating and health is secondary and wont want to spend their time cooking, that would help alot.

Also, make sure Isaak's mother gets lots of pictures of him and suggest she keep a journal. One day these times will seem like a blur to her and she will be looking at her big strong boy and wondering was that really that tiny fragile preemie in the NICU.

Best wishes to the family.

god bless the child. here is alittle poem

I'll lend you for alittle time
this child of mine he said,
for you to love the while he lives
and mourn for when he's dead

It may be 6 or 7 years or 22 0r 3
but will you, til i call him back
take care of him for me?

He will bring his charm to gladden you
and should his stay be brief,
you will have his loving memories
a solace for your grieve

I can not promise that he will stay
since all from earth return,
but there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.

I've looked the wide world over
in search of teachers true,
and from the throngs that crowd lifes lanes
I have selected you

Now will you give him all your love
not think the labor vain,
nor hate me when I come to call
to take him home again

I fancied that i heard them say
dear lord thy will be done
for all the joy the child shall bring the risk of
grief we run.

we'll shelter him with tenderness
we'll love him while we may,
and for the happiness we've known
for ever grateful stay.

but if the angels call for him
much sooner then we,ve planned
we will grave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand.

Dear God,
Please keep your son out of danger. The little boy that was brought into the world where his family is waiting to watch him grow up and care for him. Please let him be able to have a normal life with his friends and family. He's in your hands God and you always make the right choices if he is taken away please give the family your love and guidance.
Amen.
