all gifts given to a baby are appreciated.
however, if the baby is only 2 months old you might want to take into consideration how easily it will be to dress the child and undress the child. the baby can not hold her own head or arms up so dressing can be difficult.
When my babies were that young I liked snap outfits that didn't require a lot of layers because babies spit up a lot and mulitiple layers means loads of laundry.
In answer to your question: if that is what you would like to give as a gift than that is what you should select.

Clothes are always a great gift for kids. They wear them out and outgrow them very quickly.

I think that looks fine ! Also, it doesn't matter if the size is slightly too big because at that age they grow like....
