The ovulation calender said If I had my period sept 4 that i should ovulate from the 15 to 20th.I usually notice when I do.. but nothing happend until just yesterday I started having the mucus (sorry) and that was it now its done. So was that when I really started ovualting yesterday? cuz I am trying to conceive and know semen can live in the vag.. for up to 5 days so if thats true and intercourse took place yesterday I should have a pretty good chance of conceiving right?

I know all the reasons you aren't supposed to do it, but I tried it just once in a semi-emergency and couldn't make it work!! Baby kept knocking the bottle down (trying to hold it for herself), when she shifted the blanket I had under the bottle would also shift and the bottle would fall, so I'm just curious, all you moms that did it before it became a no-no, and even those of you who still do, how do you make it work?

I just saw something on Britney Spears and her new son. I was just thinking: Should we give her the benefit of the doubt? I mean, she might drive with her kid on her lap--but at least didn't name her kid Pilot Inspektor or Jermajesty. Now I am not by any means a fan of Britney's music--but should we give her the benefit of the doubt?

Would this be weird? I love the name Rafael for a boy. I'm just worried that it's a little foreign. You know what I mean? Like I'm Italian, but I'm from the Midwest. Would that be weird to name your kid Rafael when you're just a plane Jane family from Missouri?

My grandaughter Rreiawna is 7 weeks old the first few weeks she was breast fed and tolerated breast milk very well. Well we put her on formula and she began to spit it up. We have tried her on goodstart, enfamil lipil, and recently isomil advance the over all outcome: major throwing up this isn't spit up it flies out her mouth. I put her on evaporated can milk (like I did for Rreiawna's mom she also wasn't able to drink formula) just to see and she keeps it down very little spit up and NO THROWING UP could it be she's allergic to the iron or something in the formula?

I read on some breast militia site (probably Kellybitches) about breastmilk was a hypothetical and probable treatment for various cancers and leukemia. Does anyone have any scientific info about the verity of these claims? Has it cured anyone from terminal illness?

Tsk tsk. NO respect, whatsoever. How do you expect anyone to respect you? That's pretty much why I don't. Respect goes both ways. It's their choice. Suppose this questioner has had a double masectomy? Do you think she wants to hear "Breastfeed this that and the third?"

My 5 month daughter has been practicing rolling over for about two weeks, and we have kept a close eye on her, but until last night she had not rolled over at night. Last night I went in to check her at about midnight and she was on her tummy pretty much in the middle of her crib, with her face and nose clear. I gently rolled her back onto her back and went back to bed myself. Went in a 6AM to change her diaper and give her the morning bottle, and she was on her tummy again up against the bumper with her face against it, but her nose was clear. After her bottle, I laid her back down on her back. When I went in to check her at 7:15 as I was leaving for work, she was on her tummy again, in the middle of the crib, nose and mouth clear. Our pediatrician said that as soon as she can roll over on her own, that she can sleep however she wants to because the SIDS danger is past, but I've read that you have to worry about SIDS longer.

What do you guys think? Is she ok on her tummy?

I am still breastfeeding but having to supplement. We first started on Enfamil and my 8 week old was having severe stomach ache and gas. Her doctor then said to try Soy formula and suggested I try to stay away from dairy products. That didn't help much.

I have been reading up a little and decided to try Nestle Good Start. It is the best so far. She rarely is in pain anymore but she still has gas constantly.

Does anyone know firsthand what is best?

courgette. My son is 4mths old and has been being weaned for a week now. he quite willingly eats all the dried baby feeds that are added to his milk. I'm going away on holiday and had some courgettes left over so wondered if i steamed and mushed the insides if he would be able to eat these if mixed with some baby rice or on their own??
