I just saw something on Britney Spears and her new son. I was just thinking: Should we give her the benefit of the doubt? I mean, she might drive with her kid on her lap--but at least didn't name her kid Pilot Inspektor or Jermajesty. Now I am not by any means a fan of Britney's music--but should we give her the benefit of the doubt?

It all got a little ridiculous when everyone made a big deal because she tripped while holding her baby. Come on, if I had a camera on me all the time, I'm sure I would've been caught tripping more than once, while holding my baby. Her husband has got to go!!

Yeah, give her the benefit of the doubt. She should know it is really unsafe to have her infant in her lap while driving, because she wouldn't have to hit or be hit by anything that hard and crush the little tyke. Know what I mean? But, oh well. That kid is going to have it all. as long as she doesn't do it again, I'm okay with Brittany being a Mommy! LOL!

Why doesn't everybody just leave her alone? Do you know how annoying it must be to have people following you around, trying to take pictures of you and your baby. She's a normal person like everybody else, she makes mistakes too. We all just listen to the media and make judgments about her from that- none of us know her personally. I'm sure she's a really nice person. All the crap you see in magazines aren't true half the time. I think you need to stop picking on her, take a look at your lives, and worry about the improvements you can make to your life... Are any of you perfect angels? No, so shut the ***** up.

Ive seen worse than people driving with their kids on their lap.
Ive seen a guy with a toddler in his lap.
The toddler was holding onto the wheel on a heighborhood street.
The guy was messing with his sun-visor mirror.

So yes, Britney gets benefit of the doubt on this one.
And its also good that she didn't name her kid something crazy as well.

I agree. At least Sean, Preston, Sutton, and Pierce are ACTUAL names. Pilot Inspektor? In a few years that child will be looking for someone to shoot him and put him out of his misery.

Yes. She's young and country. No matter how long she's lived in L.A., she's still country. The high chair thing was her nanny's fault, not hers. The car thing was utterly stupid, but I can see where she would think it's okay. People in the country just do that.

you can name your child whatever you want to, it's not putting your child in danger. driving with them on your lap does. hell no I'm not going to give her the benefit of the doubt. who drives with their baby on their lap!

I think that she should be treated just like any other parent that makes a mistake. Who know's you could make a mistake and I know that Iwouldn't want to be judged by any mistake that I have made.

who cares what she names the kids...i'd care more about putting the kid in harms way by driving with them on her lap.

please tell me how you can possibly compare hanging an idiot name on a child to putting its life in danger by driving with it in your lap?
