Have you looked in your baby's mouth to make sure there is no irritation, blisters, etc. Also, the milk or formula you use may not be the best for your child. How do you know there are no signs of acid reflux. Do you know what the signs are and what to look for, because my 18 month old baby boys doc said the only way he would know is for me to tell him. Spitting up as much as baby drinks, crying , gassy, wont drink, cant sleep. Check nipple on bottle to be sure it isnt coming out too fast, or if it is coming out too slow. Make sure baby is propped up good when you are feeding him, this keeps acids from coming up from stomach. Also, you can buy gas drops over the counter, pharmacist will tell you the dosage. If your baby isnt gaining weight, be concerned. My son had an ultra sound, because the doctor couldnt figure out it was acid reflux. They thought he had some other condition where there was a small hole in the intestines, causing pain when he ate, also causing nutrients to leak out. Thank God it wasnt. One last thing, hold your baby when you give a bottle. Not only is it better for digestion, it helps them bond with you and feel more secure.

It could be as simple as what your doctor said, the nipple. Poke a hole in her bottle so that it is big enough for her to suck from. Did you change her formular? If you did, in that case then it is not the bottle, it can be becuse she does not like the new formular. It might just be because she has gas. Try burpping her in between the bottle.

My daughter did this too. I understand your ordinary practitioner mentioned to initiate solids yet a 5 month previous could purely be ingesting a million meal an afternoon. My daughter at 5 months grew to become into ingesting a million ozof cereal, a million/3 field of degree a million fruit or veggie (I constantly pass by making use of the quantity of formula I blended into the cereal) for lunch and a pair of ozof cereal for dinner. while she began to refuse her formula, I decrease out the nutrients one by making use of one. till she drank her comprehensive bottle she did no longer get her lunch and that i did the comparable at dinner. For some days she have been given no solids in any respect, it incredibly is purely positive! At this age, babies could be getting maximum of their foodstuff from the formula. I quickly got here across that the two nutrients an afternoon have been too lots, so we took away lunch and began the vegetables interior the evening by way of fact she grew to become right into a evening owl on the time. After she grew to become into ingesting extra formula without concern for some weeks, i ultimately further that 2nd meal decrease back in. No offense to the guy who mentioned to place cereal in a bottle, yet please do no longer try this! that's a choking danger. the entire factor of them ingesting cereal is to get them used to ingesting from a spoon.

my daughter did that too. she was teething at the time, her teeth never broke through the gums but it bothered her so much she couldn't drink from her bottle. go buy some baby orajel and put it on her gums and maybe give her a little bit of tylenol. it will help her sleep at night too bc her gums wont be bothering her. good luck :)

I had to place my daughter down in a bouncy seat or her car seat at that age. She wouldn't drink her milk when I held her.
