im 12 weeks on my first pregnancy and i know it sounds stupid but i cant shake the feeling im having twins,my mum had boy/girl twins,and 3 nights before i found out i dreamed i was preg with 2 boys,ive been throwing up almost every day since week 4,the nurse said at 7 weeks that she wouldnt be surprised if it was 2 in there but she didnt examine me, and i dont know if its bloating or im big for my time but friends say they can see a little bump already,i had another twin dream the other night im a bit freaked out by it...has anyone known they were having twins??

Hi, just about the worst thing that could have happened, has happend. My partner and I went away for Christmas and he had left locked the cat flap by accident, and the cat was trapped in the utility room for three nights.... She had pooped and obviously you can imagine the room was a mess. I didn't clear it up myself, my partner wore gloves and disposed of the mess and then cleaned the floor with antibac floor cleaner and with Bleach.
I'm still worried about it. Could I have caught toxoplasmosis from this? I didn't go in the room myself, but I am still freaking out like mad about this. What are your views? The cat has now gone to be looked after by my mums as I was so worried about it all.

i can't get health insurance and Medacaid denied me because my husband earns $25.00 more. And i can't pay the expensive doctor visits. because the first visit will cost me 1,050$ and in 7months after they send me another 1,050$ bill plus it does not include the hospital bill what should i do....Maturnity card does nothing..................

My son is 4 1/2 years old. He's about 112 cm in height and 18 kilos in weight. Sorry for the metric. He's 90th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight.

I don't need to carry him too often, but sometimes he falls asleep in the car or on the couch. Sometimes in church he wants to picked up while we're signing songs. Physically I can lift him and carry him to bed, even if it means going up the flight of stairs, but being pregnant it exhausts me. Should I or my husband keep picking him up or is he too old for it?

Hello all, I am almost 21 weeks preg. I had a cold that lasted 4 or 5 days. Sore throat, coughing, stuffy nose etc. For the last 2 days my ears have felt plugged kind of. They dont hurt but feel like they need to pop, my hearing is reduced because they feel like they need to pop. Is this something i should wait out a few more days. Anyone else who is preg experience this?

I just came back from the doctor's office and he said he thinks im 8-10 weeks! What? I thought 5-7. He would'nt do an ultra sound unti the 9th. I google a couple of ?'s and Ans.. but i am more so scared that now that he says i'm this far along may be i did hurt my lil person from all my partying.(sad). Can they really see how far along your are through a urine sample?? some1 told me this..

I mean isn't that when you ovulate, approximately two weeks after your period started (or ended , I don't know) and ovulation only leaves a two day window, right?
Correct me if I am wrong, but fertilization is impossible at any other time, and pregnancy is only a 25% possibility and that's with full ejaculation during those two days...Right?

I gave birth to my son 6 months ago--a miracle child primarily because at 39, I wasn't sure if I would ever have a child. My doctor told me that this guy would be it because of complications and other health related issues. He is such a blessing!

The thing is that my sister-in-law and my brother are trying to have a second child. My other brother and his wife have 2 children as well. Though I am hopeful for my sister-in-law to get pregnant and have a sibling for my niece, there is a part of me that is jealous that they may be able to have another child. I feel bad that I feel this way. I know I should feel blessed that I could have at least 1 child because so many women can't even have that.

Is this a normal thing for a woman with one child to feel this way--this longing for another child? I feel so conflicted--sad about the not having another child thing --and then shameful that I'm even thinking this way to begin with. Any insights?

I have had my period for years now. i am 15. i have been having sex with my bf and one day the condom broke but nothing was in it. so we havent had sex after. every couple months my period skips and it skipped after the condom broke.we waited and i havent had any sighns of stomach aches or boobs hurting for 5 weeks now.its been 5 weeks and i have a small discharg of brwon. idk. is this normal or am i pregnant?

They work very hard. 14 hours, 7 days a week.
And their job is tough with the people they deal with everyday and i feel tis making them upset and giving up faith and hope.

I've found the perfect toddler bed for my son that we both absolutely love. Problem is, it states that its for three years and up. I was under the impression that toddler beds were for basicly 18 months and up, give or take depending on the child. Why would it be for 3 and up? It's a basic toddler bed with rails and its low to the ground, etc. So should I go ahead and get it or what? My judgement is that it would be safe for him but being a mother I don't want to go against an age guideline and my son get hurt. So anyone out there ever go through something similar and what did/would you do?

i've been trying to get pregnant for 4 years now. Last monday, I started peeing a lot ( 2-3 times every hours), which is not normal for me. I also stated salivating and feeling tired all the time (which is very unusual for me), and I feel this weird almost pain like feeling on my lower back and thighs, and I would have cramps like when i'm about to get my period. Also when I eat and my stomach feels heavy,,,i would start gagging but nothing would come out. 4 days ago...i started feeling bloated and constipated...and I am now 2 days delayed...but I tested and I got an inverted T instead of a + result....i used the clear blue -/+ hpt test, im not sure if that's a positive or negative!....this is very frustrating!!! my boyfriend thinks I'm making all this out and I'm not. I wanted to smack his head! if he only knows how hard it is...I can't even eat and I can go anywhere because I get tired easily...

is my dad being unreasonable? i live with both my parents. my best friend invited me to go with her to ottawa thats only 3 hours away by drive for 3 days on new years eve. we're taking a bus there and staying in a hotel. im 18 years old turning 19 in 2 months. my mom said its okay but my dad said that bad things happen on new years eve and that i cant go. i said he could talk to her parents about the trip but he still says no. i said he could have the number for the hotel if he wants to get in contact with me but he still doubts. every year at my house on new years eve we always do the same thing..stay home and watch a movie and he says we should do the same. he says i cant even go out to a party my friend is having cuz bad things happen on new years eve. he says he trusts me but he just doesnt trust the people out there. and just the other day he said to me "why cant u grow up?".ggrrrrrr im sssoooo mad i really wanna go on the trip what do i do? advice please!
