When should a baby learn how to sit up on his/her own? How about crawling?

The majority of babies master sitting at around 6 months old, with the range being a couple months around six months. Crawling can happen anywhere from about 5 to 9 months on average.

For my twins sitting (propped up) was 5 months. Sitting from laying down was 7 months. Crawling was 9 months and walking was 12 months....all babies are different. One of mine would reach a milestone and a week later the other one would reach it.
