im 12 weeks on my first pregnancy and i know it sounds stupid but i cant shake the feeling im having twins,my mum had boy/girl twins,and 3 nights before i found out i dreamed i was preg with 2 boys,ive been throwing up almost every day since week 4,the nurse said at 7 weeks that she wouldnt be surprised if it was 2 in there but she didnt examine me, and i dont know if its bloating or im big for my time but friends say they can see a little bump already,i had another twin dream the other night im a bit freaked out by it...has anyone known they were having twins??

Because they run in your family, you might be. But I, too, have had dreams that I was pregnant with twins, and it's always only one. Also, the size of your uterus, and not your stomach/baby bump, is an indicator of if you're having twins or not.

I have twins - and did not have dreams about it until after I had them. I found out early that I was having twins since I needed an emergency ultrasound. When they did the preg. test I had a high count making them think i was further along however they did not hear a heartbeat - with my past they got nervous. SURPRISE lol Foudn out that day there were 2 little ones in there.
I had NO idea and did not have any special feeling. I of course gained WAY more weight and showed alot sooner with twins than my older daughter. I had all day sickness only with prenatal pills - I stopped those and took the supplements I knew my body needed ( ie;calcium & iron ) Once I stopped the prenatal pills - I never got sick.
They "say" that the twin gene is on the mom's side - and that it skips a generation. Both are false. I have NO twins on my side and my husband is a twin himself :)
If you are having twins - breath and enjoy life LOL - enjoy the quiet moments now and before the little ones are walking :)
Either way - I hope that he / she / they are happy and healthy

My cousin had dreams that she was pregnant with twins, and she was.
Haven't you had an ultrasound yet? They would be able to tell with an ultrasound if there are one or two in there.

it may be a coincidence you maybe having twins especially if the nurse said she wouldnt be surprised
