Okay, I have really been craving Japanese, so my hubby and I decided to have a "date night" and go out to Dinner. I am not going to eat any sushi, but I was wondering if the chicken and shrimp with the rice and veggies was okay for me to eat? Please any advice is needed!

my family always gave babies honey for many reasons including healing a cough or a cold.
my son has a cold and he is 1 months old, my mum has real honey and asked me to give him a spoon to heal his cold and cough but i refused because the doctor told me not to.
how come nothing bad happened to babies in our family including myself.
other thing, in my family they give babies water since birth but just a little bit, i didnt because my son's doctor said breastmilk is enough and water is bad for his kidneys, now my son refuses water even when it is mixed with syrup!!!
so the question is: are doctors always right?

My neice is 14. Since my sister is the only one Im close to that has a teenager this is all I get to see - I have younger kids under 5. Im dreading the teenage years. Are all teens like this, How to you handle teen years. During the family and friend all beign together during Xmas, She walked around saying smart disrespectful comments. I would have grounded her to her room with the mouth on her. Maybe Im just not use to this age but I just do not want my kids to be like that, I will "beat" them. My neice has began an online relationship with a 17yr old boy several states away. First off she isnt allowed to talk to anyone online other than who she knows in person. Her mom found out about this and grounded her (which last 2 days @@). After her mom spoke to the boy on the phone and she is now ok with this...The 14yr old, is basicly a good girl, emo/goth crowd in the flag line in band. But still a teenager. My teen years wasnt that long ago and even what seems good always isnt.input on teens

(YES I will call my doctor today but I can't for 3-4 more hours! Wanted advice until then!)

I had BV (bacterial vaginosis) for 2 weeks BEFORE I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant. So I've had it now for 11 weeks and my gynocologists said they couldn't treat me until my 12th week of pregnancy.

Well, my boyfriend and I have been having sex a couple times a week despite the fact that we know we shouldn't. Well, last night, afterwards there was a decent amount of blood. It didnt bleed anymore after that- but I just went to the bathroom and there was more blood when I wiped and blood in the toilet.

I'm not having any pain or cramping.
Could I be having a miscarriage at nine weeks- or is the blood caused from the sex & the infection?... Has anyone ever heard of this?

She was born with acid reflux and I had to feed her smaller amounts more often, including at night according to her dr. Now, she just turned a year old and and still wakes up once a night for a bottle. I am currently trying to ween from a bottle to the sippy/ regular cup. Any tips on trying to get my daughter to sleep through the night without a bottle? My dr. told me I would have a hard time because of the feeding schedule she was on due to her reflux and now that things are better, I would like to try to ween her. Any advice?

My 7 month old baby has gone off his food, and isn't really interested in his milk, he was ill last week and i think he had a sore throat (husband also ill with sore throat) and im worried that he isn't eating enough. If i try and distract him i can get five mouthfuls in (three times a day) but im worried that if i force him to eat this will really out him off his food?

We have a 6 week old baby and my husband is possibly jealous and acting VERY immature. He doesn't realize that a 6 wk old baby cannot "pay attention" to him yet when he wants her attention. So he is doing strange and immature things. For example, he will yell the baby's name from across the room. He threw a sock at the baby's face the other day and I was totally shocked. He constantly "mulls" the baby and says things like "Daddy loves you the most." He snaps his fingers and whistles loudly, either in her face or from across the room. This behavior can be appaling at times and disturbing. One major thing he did was that he took a flashlight and shined it in her face from across the room. I was horrified and very upset. How do I deal with this and get him to stop? When I tell him to stop he gets an attitude with me. I'm trying to play nice and show him attention and let him feed and hold the baby to make things better but it's not working. What should I do?

and most of the answers were that 8 was too old to wear a nappy for ANY reason.

What is the highest age it is acceptable for a child to wear a nappy?
What things is it acceptable to put a child in nappies for?
Do you think that it is acceptable to put a child in nappies at an older age if it is a pull-up so they can change it themselves?

i will not chose your answer as the best answer if you have not answered all three questions and in detail.

you have to do things like take a shower, take out the trash, check the mail, etc. I was told that I was a bad parent because I would put my daughter in her swing if she was awake while doing these things. They told me that I should always be in the room with my child because you never know what can happen. I understand that, but am I the only person who doesn't see anything wrong with walking outside for 2 minutes while I check the mail? Am I doing something wrong? I could put her in her crib, but if she is awake, then she would cry. I would, of course, rather have my baby cry then something happen to her, I just am wondering what you all do. Keep in mind I am talking about times when I am the only person home with the baby, when daddy is at work. She is almost 6 months old.
