(YES I will call my doctor today but I can't for 3-4 more hours! Wanted advice until then!)

I had BV (bacterial vaginosis) for 2 weeks BEFORE I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant. So I've had it now for 11 weeks and my gynocologists said they couldn't treat me until my 12th week of pregnancy.

Well, my boyfriend and I have been having sex a couple times a week despite the fact that we know we shouldn't. Well, last night, afterwards there was a decent amount of blood. It didnt bleed anymore after that- but I just went to the bathroom and there was more blood when I wiped and blood in the toilet.

I'm not having any pain or cramping.
Could I be having a miscarriage at nine weeks- or is the blood caused from the sex & the infection?... Has anyone ever heard of this?

If you're fulling a pad like youre on your period then yes, you'd have a problem.

Between the sex and the infection its more than enough to irritate your cervix and cause some light bleeding, more than spotting, but not full on.

Lay down and be still, drink some water. if you're passing clots or the bleeding increases then you'd have some serious problems like a miscarriage.

I would say that the sex has caused the bleeding, this happens often times after having sex. The infection may or may not be adding to this, but i would say if you have had no more bleeding and feeling cramping you should be ok, i'd still definately call your doctor when you can...... and should probably refrain from having sex if the doctor is suggesting that you do so..... so that you don't cause any harm to you or your baby in the future. Goodluck!

Never herd of the infection before but I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and had no pain but the blood had lumps in it (think it was tissue and cells and stuff) not nice! Theres nothing you can do now just see what the Dr says. Rest and take it easy! Goodluck

I think that if you aren't saposed to have sex til your treated then there is probably a good reason and you should listen to your doctor. You don't want sex to possibly cause a MC!!!
Why don't you guys just stick with oral sex tilo the doc ok's vaginal penitration!! I don't think you are having a MC because you don't have pain but I would still go ahead and call the doc like you planned. Tell them you are worried and want to be checked out. Good luck, hope everything turns out OK!

I did have some bleeding with my 2nd pregnancy after sex and it turned out to be fine.I did go in for a check up to be sure all was ok. I was further along in my pregnancy than you are though. The fact that you are only 9 weeks is reason for concern. I hope it works out ok for you. Good Luck.

Nobody can give you an answer to that. It could be from the intercourse, or it could be from the infection, or it could be the beginnings of a miscarriage.

You're going to have to wait it out and talk to your doctor. Hopefully this time you will take your doctor's advice and refrain from sex if they tell you to, etc. How horrible would you feel if you learned having sex contributed to your having a miscarriage? If you aren't going to follow your doctor's advice during pregnancy, you might as well not see a doctor at all.

Good luck to you.

First of all, You shouldn't be having sex and you know you shouldn't. That means DON'T do it!!! Secondly, BV shouldn't ever make you bleed. It is likely that you could have irritated something by having sex. If you keep bleeding, skip calling the doctor, just go to the ER.

Omg don' t positioned a tampon on your vagina once you're pregnant. You aren;t meant to place something in there it ought to reason an infection and so on. it ought to be from intercourse each so often you bleed slightly from that no longer becasue it hurts the toddler yet from friction. in case you start to bleed plenty like sufficient to fill a pad pass to the er.

You should not have sex with an infection it only can make it worse!!. The bleeding may not be a miscarridge but you need to go to the ER or Call your Doc they should have an "on call" Doc who can tell you where you need to go. Good luck sweetie
