Honesty is always the best policy in any situation. You should sit down with your boss and tell him/her how excited you are about starting this job and why and then explain the news about your pregnancy. Tell your boss you want to stay with the company as long as you physically can (if you do) and come back after you've had the baby (if you want to). If he/she is a good boss (or a mom or dad) they will understand. I'm pretty sure they legally cannot fire you because of this. Although loopholes like a probation period for the first few months might allow them to, if they are smart they won't risk a lawsuit. And if they understand how much of an asset you are to their company and that you want to stay, they won't even want to get rid of you. Besides even if they kick you to the curb or react negatively because you are expecting, would you really want to work for a company like that anyway? Congratulations and Good Luck!

I would what to tell them. I am 21 weeks and I haven't been working at my job for 3 months yet. So far only 3 people know about my pregnancy. I would say the best thing for you to do is continue working and look in the employee handbook to see what the company policy is for maternity leave. If you can't find it in the book then ask someone in the H.R department. Good Luck

They shouldn't sack you just because you are pregnant . So as soon as things are ok , after scans etc you should treat the pregnancy as if you had been in the job for a number of years . i.e you provide your manager with date of confinement note and then just get on with training in the new job.
I assume if you are in very early stages that you might just get past the 6 month qualifying period ?? doe maternity pay

You have to be working for your employer 12 weeks before your 25th week of pregnancy before your entitled to maternity leave

i would wait a lil bit and then be like wow i'm pregnant by then u will or should have a company hand book and know the policy and no one will be able to pull the wool over ur eyes

I think you are getting ahead of yourself.
Firstly, although you are pregnant, a lot can happen in the first 3 months, so don't paint the nursery yet.
by all means tell your new employer that you are pregnant when you start, particularly if you find yourself suffering with sickness. Proving yourself as honest and hard-working is important if you want them to keep you on.
Assuming all goes 'to plan' what can you tell your employer about what childcare arrangements you anticipate? How much time off would you anticipate having?

You technically don't ever have to inform your employer that you are pregnant--though it will become increasingly obvious. You may be covered under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), which can provide you with up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave. at your work you need to work on top of your job and show your employer you are a fabulous worker and then when you need to have your baby leave work and hopefully tour employer/boss will understand and know you will come back as soon as you can to work the very best as before.
