This question is for mothers who have given birth, or who are pregnant, and have genital herpes. What are some of the risks you dealt with? My doc says if i have a break out while going into labor he will have to give me a csection, but i rather have a vaginal birth is at all possible. How did you get through it? Im so stressed about it!

My wife and I are due on january 13th...but really want this child to be born before the new year (you know, tax reasons). Are there some ways to induce an early delivery without doing harm to the baby? He is already considered full term.

I am a happily married (15yrs) man. My wife and I have 4 kids. I can't really ask my friends this because they will think I am weird. How long after making love do you usually wait before putting some PJ's or whatever you normally sleep in back on? When you catch your breath? After some snuggle time? In the morning? When you wake up later to use the facitlities? (not looking for numbers, just logistical ideas).

I've tried to tell her that thwere's no need to watch them, but she's addicted! How do I get her to stop and realize that this isn't right?

I have a 2 month old daughter who I have been solely breastfeeding. I plan on continuing also! I just want to know from other breastfeeding mothers...do you ever give your babies juice or water or add cereal or anything like that? I know I can ask my doctor this but I just want to know from other mothers. If so at what age did you start?

Go back to visit your adopted parents, my friend who fostered 10 children, told me neither of them kept in contact with her, only her biological and stepchildren came back to see them.

I always told people that I had my entire life ahead of me to work, and I never wanted to degrade myself by working at a fast food joint grilling burgers, or putting people's food in bags at a grocery store. I wanted to enjoy my teen years, and not spend everyday after school working or spend my summers working. (I am also a three-season athlete so it was not out of laziness.)
Well, I ended up getting an internship with my town newspaper this year, and after successfully writing numerous articles in the sports section, they hired me. I will be getting paid $30-$40 an article. Isn't it great that my first job as a teenager is not degrading in any way? What do you think?

..she's 13 and I just walked in to find her watching videos of couples kissing on YouTube..I mean it was very very up close to their faces to the point where you could see the form of their lips..should I be concerned about this or should I say anything at all to her? Is this considered "normal" for a teenager to be watching these things?

I have a two week old baby and she is getting gassier by the day. She will fall asleep and then wake up 5 minutes later throughout most of the day making gassy type noises. I was thinking of switching to a soy based formula.

I just finished watching the movie Junior, where a fertilized egg was inserted into the abdomen of a man and every day he was given very high doses of progesterone and estrogen, and nine months later, sure enough, he had a baby via C-section. Mad science or possible some day?

My son is 19months and still in his crib. The problem is he's huge (not fat just solid and tall) and getting him in and out of the crib is pretty hard on my back. I'm short and using a step stool to help me out.
He doesn't climb out of the crib and sleeps really well in it the only thing is he sleeps all around it, not just on one side.
so i'm scared he'll fall off even with bed rails

theoratically speaking, let's say you are a few days pregnant and something goes wrong and you loose the baby. is it still like a few month miscarriage where you bleed and such, or is it not as big since the baby was only a few days old?

my dad passed away 5 years ago. i have a 23 yo bro, and 20 yo sis, a 18 yo bro (all out on their own), i'm 16, and my little bros are 12 and 7. we just found out that my mom has brain cancer, they gave her 3 mo. to live. both my parents were only kids and 3 of our grandparents have passed away, the other one is at a nursing home. i'm hoping my mom will make it, but if not, would me, Kameron, and Keegan be put into foster care, or would we be allowed to live with our older siblings (like one of us with each)? what would be legal, we don't want to be separated.

I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old. I was in the bathroom and they went to the workout bench and started to attack the cat with the weights. His foot is broken and I am very disturbed. At the time they thought it was funny, and now they see how badly he is hurt and how upset I am they are very sorry and petting him / apologizing. Any thoughts?

Here's a fun game for all you name-lovers. I'm compiling a list of twin names that match in a subtle way (like be meaning or by origin), instead of by rhyming or first letter. Please help! (Maybe by this list we can convince some expectant mothers not to name their children Emma and Jemma or Aiden and Jaden.) The names should still be cute, should coordinate (not one plain English and one exotic African), and should sound good in modern Amerian society.

My examples:
-- Helen ("light") and Claire ("bright") and Lucy ("light")
-- Kate ("pure") and Lily ("pure") and Susannah ("lily")
-- Leila ("dark-haired") and Keira ("dark")
-- Ella ("elfin") and Aubrey ("king of the elves")
-- Mary (virgin mother) and Diana (virgin goddess)
-- Hannah ("grace") and Charissa (Greek "grace")
-- Phoebe ("moon") and Celene ("moon") and Luna ("moon") and Diana (moon goddess) and Neoma (Greek "moon")
-- Leila (Persian "dark; night") and Nisha (Sanskrit "night") and Samar (Arabic "darkness of night")
