felt like crap. i had the worse cramps ive ever felt. like period cramps times 100. i was both exhausted and achey, and tired, because the night before i couldnt sleep due to bad back pais. all day i sat with a stop watch and kept track of how far apart they were. once they were 4 1/2 minutes apart for an hour i went into the hospital and had a baby boy 16 1/2 hours later.

I felt weird like something was changing. I nested - I had the cleanest bathroom in town. Went to the bathroom A LOT. I just spent the week trying to figure out if I was in labor. It all started on Monday and baby was born at 1:36 a.m. on Saturday.
Yes - definitely felt a sensation that it was time.

I was a little grumpy... Other then that I just knew it was getting close because I was losing my mucus plug and I was a bit crampy. I had a GREAT labor and delivery though, only 12 hours in all and only about 4 hours of hard labor.
Very best wishes!

I had no idea. Earlier that day I was having BH pretty regularly, and then they faded as the day went on. I was going about my normal day, in a good mood, getting ready to watch TV, when my water broke. Needless to say after that I was uber-excited and was hardly able to sleep that night (about 2 hours). It just kind of snuck up on me! The BH were a warning sign, but it's so hard to tell when it's your first pregnancy.

Frustrated with my son because he was a week late and I kept having really bad contractions that weren't getting me anywhere and I KNEW I was leaking fluid but no one would listen and they all acted surprised when I had an ultrasound at 41 weeks and it was very low. I was then induced and I was starving because I didn't eat before my appointment, just in case the induced me.
With my daughter I was excited and scared and very tired. I went into labor with her at 10pm! I was also just so relieved my husband flu in that afternoon, he was deployed, so he made it in time. She was two days early! =)

Everyone is different, but a lot of women have a burst of energy and start cleaning the house. It is referred to as the nesting instinct.
By the way, cleaning the house will not start labor.

Nope I felt like I had my entire pregnancy. I didn't notice any difference and had no clue that labor would soon be happening.

horribly sick, At least with my first child, I was pre-eclamptic and had been on bed rest for weeks. I was frustrated out of my mind and just was really ready for my daughter to be born.
