..she's 13 and I just walked in to find her watching videos of couples kissing on YouTube..I mean it was very very up close to their faces to the point where you could see the form of their lips..should I be concerned about this or should I say anything at all to her? Is this considered "normal" for a teenager to be watching these things?

Yes we've had "the talk". She's perfectly aware of what goes on and she's promised me she'll wait for marriage to go that way..I'm just a little confused because this was a little unexpected. LOL.

I'm afraid I might freak her out if I confront her about it

Lol don't worry. She probably just wants to learn how to kiss properly or is curious about it or something. As long as she hasn't been exhibiting any other weird behaviour it should be ok. Although if you actually caught her in the act it might be good to talk to her about it rather than just leaving it. But if she didn't know you saw then dw about it, i imagine she would be very embarrased if you told her you knew. It is just kissing after all, and the fact that she is watching it on youtube probably means she hasn't had any experience with it yet!

I read some1 said not to worry, that is 1 of the stupidest things i ever heard. Your the parent and u must keep track of what ur kids r watching. What may seem innocent at 1st can lead to more extreme things in the future. Now i am not saying u go in there and lay down the law, saying u cant do this or else. B/c when u think about it u most likely bought the computer, if its in her room even worse, u supply the internet,do u watch things like that? Kids do follow after there parents, so u should set a good example ? have u ever really sat down and reasoned with her on how to be clean (figuratively)? But remember u r the parent and thus u must be loving and considerate or else she may start hiding things from u and not want 2 talk 2 u personally at all, in future events. Be loving is my best advice

I think it's completely normal that she's interested in the subject and using the tools she has to find out answers! But I would recommend sitting down with her and talking frankly about why she SHOULDN'T be trying to learn this from YouTube.
Ask her to ask you first when she has questions about kissing(or other sex-related issues), and remind her that kissing is an act of intimacy. Intimacy that she will learn soon enough with a committed boyfriend. And honestly? No need to practice beforehand! If there's chemistry it'll be wonderful without any practice at all.
But most importantly, please don't come down too hard on her - this is YouTube, not Porn4Us.

Of course it's normal. As long as she's not acting it out and you talk to her, don't worry. She's discovering her sexuality and this may be her way of exploring.
I suggest you talk to her about sex and about the difference between those videos and real life. She needs someone to talk to, so find a situation in which you feel most comfortable approaching her about it. It's very difficult, and if you just can't do it, write her a letter and put it in a sex education book. She needs guidance from you and not from YouTube videos. With your help, this could be what keeps YOU from walking in on her kissing a boy (or worse) and HER safe.

It's normal for teens to be curious about kissing, and yes, curious about sex. There is a lot of free stuff on the internet, including videos depicting all kinds of sexual activity.
It's time to move the computer into a public space like the living room or the kitchen, if it isn't already there. Monitor her computer use and definitely sit down and start the talks about sex and what it means. She's old enough to have sex and old enough to know what it means.

LOL haha I use to do that, now when you actually say it, it sounds a bit creepy but, now I became a really good kisser. Sorry if you find my comment inappropriate but, it's normal, for teenagers to do this. Well, I would say you should be a bit worried I mean if your daughter get too over the line. But If you already had a talk with her, it will be fine.

Depends. Was the whole point of the video a makeout scene, or did it just happen? But either way, I wouldn't be too concerned. This is normal teenager affairs, and it would be best not to say anything

Shes just interested. Kissing is shown in detail on Tv all the time. And nowadays sex it is thrust upon kids so early they barely have time for a childhood. Let her investigate and do a little exploring (within reason, obviously. Im not sayin that you should let her snog every guy she likes). Then talk to her about it. You don't want to scare her of, or make her feel like shes doing something wrong.
Its a little crude that its on the net, i agree. But kissing is just one of thoes things. We all do it.

All sorts of things are on Youtube, she might have come across a video and you just happened to walk in when that was up.
But it still might be a good idea to talk to her about that.
And yes it is perfectly normal.

Trust me you probably just walked in at the wrong moment.
Used to happen to me all the time.
I'd be watching some music video and my dad would walk in when the couple were making out.
Or I'd be watching wrestling on TV and my Dad would walk in when there was bad language.
She's probably just watching something she's interesting that happens to include a couple kissing.
Dont worry.
