love the name! Great choice! And I like the fact that you get three or more names out of one name (Nathaniel, Nathan, Nate...). But I really do like the more traditional spelling of "Nathaniel." I think people would always misspell his name if you spelled it "Nathanael." ...But if you really like the spelling, then go for it...he's your child :)

it is a cool name....and then if the boy doesn't like it as he grows up he always has the choice of nathan or ethan
but i think nathanael is a very good name

I like May spelled Mae...
I like Kay spelled Kae...
I like Fay spelled Fae...
But I do NOT like Nathaniel spelled Nathanael.
I do like Nathaniel, though!
