If you had a 23 year old responsible daughter who doesn't party, drink, use drugs, or hang out with the wrong crowd would you give her a curfew at night? If so what time would be reasonable?

i slept with a really good friend of mine, but friends is all we are. i just found out i got pregnant and told my parents and i also told the guy. my parents flipped out because im not 'with' him and they dont want me to have this kid and him not be there to help me raise this kid.. i told the guy but he dont want me to have it either; he says if i had it tho he would be there for the baby.. i really wanna have it but i dont wanna regret it later.

i live on my own and everything but i was thinking about moving back home to have more money. my dad said that if im having this baby i wont be allowd to move back home.

i dont know what to do at all!! i just need some advice!

Our baby is due in January but for some reason I don't think I am going to make it that far. Therefore, I would like to have names picked out so we can name our baby when he is born. What do you think about Juniors... When you are with a great guy you kind of want to honor him. But when you have a name in mind that you love and you don't particularly care for Derrick then do you stick to your ground?

My son is one year old. Im waiting for HR at work to tell me if my insurance has kicked in so I can take him to see the doctor. I just recently got hired and turned in my app last week. So I am not sure if my coverage is active. Anything I can get my son over the counter?

The only way I can get my 21 month old to sleep at night or during the day at nap time is to lay with her. Ive tried the cry it out method it doesnt work....all she does is get outta bed and bang on the door screaming. If that doesnt work then she shoves her hand in her mouth till she pukes......I dont think that there is a huge problem with this because I do love to lay with her and "cuddle" however in 3 months when I have a newborn it may not be feasible to lay down with my toddler. PLEASE I AM OPEN TO ALL SUGGESTIONS.

Ok... well here's the story. At the senior prom I had a drink and me and my boyfriend of 1 month did IT at his house afterwards when his parents were away for the weekend. It was unprotected and i think i'm pregnant cuz i've been throwing up and i took a test and it tested positive. I haven't told anyone yet except my best friend that i might be pregnant. I haven't told my boyfriend or my family or i haven't gone to the doctor. What should I do and how should i tell them?

Just wondering what other's opinions are, whether you were an only child or have an only child. I have a 2 year old and would like to have another child, but my hubby is ambivalent about it. If it were just my feelings to consider, then I wouldn't mind not having another because he is the whole center of my world and has all of the love I can give, but he's only 2 and he enjoys all the attention and time he spends with us now, but as he gets older I think he would like a sibling to play with. I have an older brother and older sister. They were a complete pain in the butt growing up, but looking back, my life would have been so different and so empty without them. So I guess I am ambivalent too, it's hard to imagine loving another as much as I love him. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I don't like to assign it because I view Xmas as family time. I have had requests from parents and from students though. Some want it to prepare for the January tests. Others want extra credit. If I did anything, I was going to give a website and ask parents to sign off that students spent a certain amount of time working on the Pre-Algebra problems. feedback?

What do you all think about teen marriage? Even if the girl isn't pregnant by the guy? If they've been in a relationship for 3 years or more? Or even if the girl gets pregnant? Have you experienced teen marriage? did it work out for you? Can a 16 or 17 year old get married to a 18, 19, ect. year old with her parents consent??

Or more so, tell me what you do with your 20 month old. Not trying to compare here, just curious.....
Mine is still in her crib (LOVES it). Goes to bed awake and puts herself to sleep. Sleeps with about 10 small animals. Been off the bottle since she was one, never took a pacifier. Carries her Ernie doll everywhere. LOVES books. No where near potty training. (has no concept of having to go or that she went). Size 18 months clothes and size 5 shoes. 1 two hour nap. We still use a baby moniter. buy baby juice because she can only have 4oz per day. Drinks water with ice in it. I give her Gerber Graudates Meat Sticks and Fruit snacks. all other normal foods. Whole milk. No chocolate, VERY limited candy (special occasion only). only 1 hour of TV each day (cartoons in the morning). she picks out her own clothes each day (pick between 2 or 3) and make as many simple choices in her day as she is able. Picks her own snacks. Brush teeth morning and night. Bath before bed.

I'm getting ready to have my first baby and I want to stock his/her room with plenty of books. I've been looking at Dr. Suess and Disney but what are some other books that would be good to get? Some that will take them on for their first few years, from birth to maybe when they start school. I want them to expand over several years, not just their first year. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am curious if any women would admit to feeling regretful of having had children? I've often heard that it's the 'moments' that make it all worth while. Are those times truely worth all of the effort that you have put forth into raising them? Or do you think that it has been a hinderance in any way? Career, travel, Opportunity... (I am 27/no children and still undecided on having any.)

Do you like these names? If so, do you like Sophie or Sophia better?
and what are some suggestions on middle names? The middle names Ive thought of are...Juliette, Grace, Isabelle and Anna and Rachael ( last two are family names).
I already have a daughter named Savannah, so I thought Savannah and Sophie/Sophia would sound cute as sisters.

Well, I'm looking for some baby name suggestions..

I've got four girls already and I don't know what gender I'm having

the girls I have now are:

Madelyn Charlotte, Katelyn Sarah (we call her Katie), Milyn Eloise and Abbey Nicole

I'm hoping for something that doesnt end in -lyn, because then I'll only have one kid that doesnt have a name that matches :P

Boy or girls names :)

My four year old Hayden, was getting ready to go to bed and I said you need to brush your teeth now, after five or so minutes of debate. and she said uh mom i dont want to and i dont have to!
i said: brush your teeth now!
hayden: like i have to
i said: hayden your getting a spanking after you brush your teeth.
hayden: i dont care it's not like it hurts then she proceedeed to run and i just waited for her to stop, i finally picked her up by her pajama bottom pulled it down and gave her eight swats on her undies
i told her that her dad would give her a "harder" one in the morning.
should i start giving her bare bottom spankings? how many swats should i do?
i feel like im always spanking my kids.

i kind of feel like shouldn't she know by now to protect herself so she doesnt kill so many babies? and i know some will argue that they aren't really "babies" yet.

when would you consider a fetus or egg (i dont know what to call it) to start living? like when does it actually gain consciousness?

guys opinions too!
