anyone can help me out? I would love to buy the vtech, leapfrog stuff or even the hooked on phonics now sold in stores but its to expensive.. so how does one start without all that extra stuff?? thanks!

I am trying to stay very positive ... I miscarried on the 26th of October and stopped bleeding about a week or so after ... I ovulated (I am very tuned in to ovulation) around the 14th and am now 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and have my first OB appointment tommorow for some basic bloodwork. I am hoping to hear some positive stories of pregnancy directly after miscarrying. Mine was a natural miscarriage, and did not require D&C. I was about 9 weeks along (LMP).

Also- what will they do at my appointment? I haven't told them about the other mc yet, do you think they will want to order an ultrasound?

My first husband and I are divorced since our daughter was 9 mnths. She recently told us that she has been repeatedly molested by her grandfather during visitations with her dad. i ave done all the proper things since then, notified social services, she has been physically examined twice and they found scaring on her cervix and a partially torn hymen both times (different doc's) she also has been to two different child therapists who say it definatly happend. The thing is, the case has been "shelved" i was told by the investigating attorney because the district attorney says that she is not a crediable witness because she is only 6 and that there is not enough evidence to prosicute. I have emailed and called the uninted states justice dept., he congressman for my area and local news stations, including CNN and NBC. What else can I do? I don't understand why justice can't be found in this matter!

So my best friend is sick and well she has a little girl who is 1 1/2 years old....umm were not sure how long she will be around for and well i was talking to her yesterday and she said that if anything happens she wants me to take her daughter. i myself have a 8 month old boy. i would love to adopt her little girl because i am so close to her. i thought talking it over with my bf first would be the best thing as it would be his life to right? well he is so agienst it and thinks that she should just go into the foster care system and hope to be adopted. I dont think thats fair.but i am confused now because for one i dont know how i would go about adopting her in the first place and the other reason is because i love my bf but i also love my best friend and her daughter. if i just let her go i would probally never see her agian and that would kill me...i was there when she was born and me and liza( my best friend) have been friends since i was 8. its a long time i am almost 22 now.

I'm currently in the market for a convertible car seat for my children. My oldest currently has a Triumph convertible seat by Evenflo. So far so good, it's been a pretty decent seat, and it seems to be comfortable.
My baby is getting ready for a convertible seat, the infant seat is getting small, and I want to get my oldest a new one as well. I would like to know which seat do you currently own, and what your experience has been with it so far. There are way to many in the market and it's difficult to just choose one, if I could I would get all the ones I like, but that would be unnecessary spending :o)

I just had a baby four weeks ago and of course I can't have sex until my six week check up. He acts like he doesn't know that or just doesn't care but all he wants to do is have sex. Every day I get bothered either to do that or do HIM somethin ya know. Well all I wanted to know is if he is a sex addict and what I could do to help him.

Katelyn is 6 months and has gotten two teeth on the bottom. Now, when I nurse her she is constantly nibbling and it *HURTS*!! I don't want to stop nursing, but this can't go on if she naws my nipple off!

Hi I am 18 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child but I don't think reality has hit me yet. I have bought all the baby stuff and started setting up the nursary but still can not believe that I am actually pregnant. I feel like a fat cow and I feel the baby move alot but Have any of you felt like this? Like you aren't even going to be going through another life changing event?

My son is 7 months old and I am still breastfeeding. I did not smoke at all during the pregnancy and I have recently started back about 2 weeks ago... will any cigarette chemicals get to my baby through my breast milk??? I just want to know if it's harmful because if it is, I can stop because I am not a very heavy smoker.

Hi,
my son is 7 months old now and likes to sit up and sometimes get down in the crawling position but he hasn't actually started crawling yet.....isn't it about time he started crawling?? i 'm just afraid something's wrong with him because i've heard others say that their babies started crawling before this age!! How come my baby is not developing as quickly??? This is my first child so i am not as experienced yet!! thanks for your answers in advance!

I picked out the names Bryley Joel and Paxton Gage for my little boys name LONG ago... Then when I got pregnant, my husband said he would like our kids name to be Thomas. It is something very special to him and has to do with a lost friend. I personaly like the name but would rather not name my kid that... Can you think of any name that could go with it to make it sound different, I hate ordinary names. Please help.

But you may have bleeding or spotting during pregnancy that can seem like a period.

This spotting may be caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the blood-rich lining of the uterus, a process that starts just 6 days after fertilization, and it's generally a lot lighter than a typical period — just a day or two of very light spotting.
If you're pregnant and you're not sure when your last period started, this can make establishing a due date difficult for your healthcare provider.
