I am trying to stay very positive ... I miscarried on the 26th of October and stopped bleeding about a week or so after ... I ovulated (I am very tuned in to ovulation) around the 14th and am now 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and have my first OB appointment tommorow for some basic bloodwork. I am hoping to hear some positive stories of pregnancy directly after miscarrying. Mine was a natural miscarriage, and did not require D&C. I was about 9 weeks along (LMP).

Also- what will they do at my appointment? I haven't told them about the other mc yet, do you think they will want to order an ultrasound?

I had 2 prior m/c and am now 38 weeks PG w/ my first baby.

I was seeing an RE specialist at the time, so yes - I did get a vaginal ultrasound (you probably will too) which is a way for them to really check and make sure they baby is there and with me they detected a heartbeat and we even got to hear it! Since you will be a little under 6 weeks it maybe hard to find - but does not mean you had a m/c. Just ask lots of questions and ask them to explain it all (remind them you had a previous m/c and are worried - I did!)

Congrats and best wishes :-)

My 1st and 2nd pregnancy ended in miscarriage (9 and 10 weeks). I had to have a d&c both times. I'm now 20 weeks pregnant and all is going well. I wish you good luck and all the best for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

All's they will need to do is order blood work and check your hormone levels. The baby isn't visible at 5 weeks. My friend got pregnant 3 months after her miscarriage at 6 weeks (her doctor told her to wait 3 months before trying to make sure she was all cleaned out) and she just gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
