I think you should give this girl a box of condoms for Xmas.
As a father and a Nurse, I feel that the child is alive at the time of conception. Consciousness comes later, once the frontal lobe of the brain develops.
Though I oppose abortion, I do not feel that it is my place, or the place of any other person, to tell someone to not have one. The choice should lie solely with the mother.

The question of when something starts living entirely depends on what you mean by "living." Be definition, just about every cell in your body is alive - every sperm is something that, however briefly, is "living." Consciousness, well, that tends to develop after people are born. If you go by the mirror test, most people gain consciousness around 18 months.
Now, when you come to abortion, you have a distinct problem of two beings in one body. Which one has rights? They cannot both have conflicting rights, and if the host body, the woman, is forced to carry a pregnancy that she does not want, then she has lost her rights. So when does the fetus gain rights? When it is able to survive outside the womb.
So, in the end, abortion is an acceptable and moral option because, without choice, women are reduced to nothing more than gestation tanks. Forced pregnancy is no better, ultimately, than rape.

Life starts at conception and if the abortion is performed after 18DPO, the baby has a beating heart - to stop it, is to kill it, which is to commit murder, which is a sin and which should be in my opinion, punishable when used as a type of contraceptive.
I am pro-life, and the fact that someone can sit there and say that they would never do it, but they feel it's important to have the right is incredibly hypocritical to me. Why would you want to be given the "right" by man to kill another and not be punished? I think anyone that thinks this way is very sick and is in need of dire help.
To me, it's funny how killing a child in your womb isn't punishable by law and it's actually ALLOWED and even encouraged at times, but poisoning a 2 day old isn't - they're both humans, alive with a beating heart...until someone decides that they're worthy enough to take on the role of God and take the child's life.
You asked for an opinion, you got it. I expect many, many thumbs down because let's face it - when you're not with someone in this world, you're against them and there's no changing your mind about it - or telling you that telling someone else that their "opinion" is wrong. People just don't get it.
Oh, and I'll say that for people of which you speak of, sex should be illegal for. She should have her legs sewn shut or something.

I personally would never have an abortion, but it is a choice. But I strongly feel it is wrong to use as a birth control method. It is not birth control. Life begins at the moment of conception. The heart beats 18-22 days after conception. It is shown that a baby inside the uterus can feel pain. I think abortion is awful, but in some cases understandable. It is not a choice I would ever make, but I cannot say what others should and should not do. I can say how I personally feel, but people are still going to do it.

She is completely selfish for choosing not to protect herself THAT MANY TIMES and then aborting the pregnancies.
I think the guidelines for abortion are set forth for a reason: 12 weeks is when the baby has already taken shape and should be considered a (tiny) living being.
~ I F L I F E B E G I N S A T C O N C E P T I O N THEN WHY DO WE NOT START MEASURING AGE UNTIL BIRTH? TECHNICALLY A BABY IS ALREADY 9 MONTHS OLD WHEN IT IS BORN - NOT ZERO (0)

Yea i think its sad how girls use abortion as a form of birth control when they could save a couple hundred bucks and get on the pill! I dont care what stage of pregnancy it is its a baby. The fetus is always aware I guess u could call it. Id say they "gain conciousness when the heart starts pumping wich is VERY early.

For me personally I couldn't ever do abortion first sooner or later she will just become infertile from the scare tissues. But I think there should be some kind of limit on it b/c too many people use it as birth control and not as a rare thing.

I would have a hard time accepting it if my girlfriend/wife wanted to have an abortion, but I certainly don't think that I, or anyone, government included, has the right to tell someone else that they can't. It's a decision that each person has to make for themselves.

I believe everyone has their own choices to make and it is not for me to think about if that girl does right or wrong. I just do not think it is any of my business.
I do not however believe abortion is murder for i do not believe it is a baby until it is viable.
